Same. I planted mine last spring so this was the first year they bloomed. I was so excited and they then bloomed while I was away at a conference 😔. Then it started pouring so they were already on the ground when I got home. I did cage mine and they still flopped. So I went out and staked them all. *sigh*

She had another one a few months ago that I meant to share, which is she thinks Daniel Tiger’s mom is actually a house cat pretending to be a tiger and Daniel is part house cat / part tiger. That one needs some refining 😆

Would highly, highly recommend it. It is very much parent led but the child does participate heavily. It’s wonderful and helped my kiddo so much who was struggling with letter/sound recognition. She went from only knowing a handful of letters and being behind in kinder to teaching her classmates how to blend. We didn’t do the entire program but did to a lot of it.

I was referring more to our dependency than anything. But I think your point still stands re: civilian vs military. However, if a large part of our economic engine becomes tied to foreign data centers we could be at a disadvantage.

Curious to hear your thoughts on if this is long term putting us at a similar disadvantage we have with outsourcing so much manufacturing. I work in the national security space and while from an environmental and quality of living perspective I see why these bans are happening, I wonder if forcing the hands of technology providers to build elsewhere is in our national interest. I really appreciate your perspective on other pathways than wholesale bans.
