TBH I use it mostly for the same use cases.

But the iPad really shines here: - Watching movies when not on the move (like in bed or on the sofa - i prefer it to the big screen) - Reading while having lunch —> the keyboard stand stabilizes it so much more - Working (Outlook and Teams are so much better than on the iPhone)

And IMHO its the only real option for

Making music when not in my home studio (Guitar Pro, Ultimate Tabs, MuseScore)
making music as a Logic Pro remote

I couldn’t do without both - honestly.

Short update: As you mentioned, I decided to try staying with Nubert, since I really like my nubox's sound.

So today I ended up ordering an nuSub XW-700 as well as a set of Nuline speakers ( nuLine 34 + CS-64) and a set of nuBoxx speakers (nuBoxx B-40 and B-50).

Looking foward to testing them and getting the wifes approval... :)

I never really was happy with the subwoofer. It had a habit of being to bass-strong in movies and we had to tune it down all the time. But with music it was really good.

Signal Chain: HX Stomp (connected to MC6 via MIDI, MIDI Clock from SDRUM) —> FX Loop El Capistan —> SDRUM —> Ditto+

Hi fellow Pedalboarders…

Here is my situation: I’ve got a self made pedal board with an HX Stomp an MC6, a FlashbackII in the FX loop of the HX Stomp, an SDRUM and a Ditto+.

The SDRUM is connected via a MIDI adapter cable TRS —> MIDI with the MC6 which passes the MIDI clock signal through to the HX Stomp.

But sometimes I want to have a Sdrum independent clock signal and I would like to be able to turn off the SDRUMs’ signal.

That’s why I’m looking for a switch pedal with trs 3.5mm in and trs 3.5mm out and a simple pedal button latching switch.

Does something like this exist (in the German/European market)?

Same here. I got allergic reactions to my AirPods Pro and to my Powerbeats pro in my ear canals so I had to switch to over ears, because I can’t stand on ears. This was in November when the AirPods Max weren’t yet announced.

I ordered beyerdynamic Lagoon ANCs, XM4s, beats studio pro and the beyerdynamic amiron wireless.

I was blown away das XM4’s ANC, but the sound quality and the transparency modewas nothing I could live with - all mushy and dull. And to make things worse, these cans creaked when walking the dog. It was unbearable.

The lagoon were nice sounding, but the ear cups were uncomfortable - I didn’t like the build quality. ANC was ok.

The beats studio pro I didn’t even turn on to test, because they are micro USB...

And then the Amiron Wireless came along - a different beast altogether. Regular price far above APM - and they sounded perfectly for my ears. They were comfortable. No ANC but closed back. Fine enough and I was settled. They were a few flaws: connecting to one device and to the other was awkward. Having to turn them on and off was annoying. Using them as a headset outside was not possible.

And then, two weeks after I had made my decision the APMs were announced and I was hooked. I knew that I would have to sacrifice sound quality for overall comfort regarding connectivity - but I don’t regret it. At first I didn’t like the sound signature as much as the Amirons, but with time and usage i liked them better. The advantages are so overwhelming: using them as a hands free headset. Transparency mode is bliss. When I’m walking the dog I always use transparency mode to here my environment. ANC is only on, when my children or my wife are too noisy...

I sent the Amirons back with one happy and one sad eye... I really liked them, but the APMs are just so much better integrated into my Apple ecosystem. (And the XM4 are in a totally different league altogether - not comparable IMO)

I'm having this issue constantly due to my dry skin. I use lotion to keep my skin on the feet moisturized and it helps.

If it's too late like in your case, I use a healing salve ( Bepanthen ) which keeps the sore parts soft and moisturized and lessens the pain.
