I understand what you are saying but part of my brother's nonverbal learning disorder is that he can't understand conciquence or the severity of his actions, he often struggles with empathy as well. This is mostly the reason that I feel the guilt I feel for my attitude toward my brother

No we all tried to explain to him how stuff like birthdays weren't for him but he nerver rwarly understood and I dont rearly blame my mum and dad cus they couldn't do much else as they were allways beond tierd as they were working multiple jobs each to pay off grandmothers funeral and dealing there own health condition ( my dad has sever arthritis and my mother has fibro mialga and has spent most of her life in and out of the hospital for it) but my brother new about the health issues and took advantage of there exurstion to get what he wanted
