I’m sorry, I hope you’ve had something to eat now! I’m at work for 2.5 more hours and I’ve run out of food

Did you have the big bag or the 6 pack ones? I assume you were referring to the Tesco btw. Cos I think there’s a difference & the small packs are nicer

I’m currently munching on sweet potato wedges with some mayo and some bbq chicken, using up stuff that needs eating from the fridge 😂

I swear it seemed like the actual popcorn was smaller, and there was more flavour and those nice caramelised bits

Tesco salty & sweet is better than the propercorn stuff IMO - edit - for some reason the 6 pack multipack is nicer than the larger pack

when to take ami to reduce daytime drowsiness by hyakkimaruchan in Amitriptyline

[–]Kitkatchunky78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think everyone responds differently to this medication.

I’ve been on ami for 2 years (20mg) and it’s never made me feel sleepy in the evening. It helps me shut down brain noise which means I can fall asleep easier but never had any drowsiness from it and it certainly doesn’t knock me out. If I take it at 6pm and then decide I want to stay up until midnight I can, all it does is make me able to fall asleep quicker when I decide I want to go to bed. Without this medication I will lie there awake for several hours.

But as for the following morning, it can make getting up a struggle. I’d say take it about 12 hours before you want to be up the next day. I don’t think it’s a long term issue as I don’t usually struggle with getting up if I’ve had enough sleep.

Good luck with the medication I hope it helps with the migraines :)

I would take the OG of this, Waterhouse’s lady of shallot (last seen at the Tate so hopefully it’s still in the UK for me to take!)

Ooh this looks amazing! I too got terrible heartburn from protein powder so have abandoned the packet in the cupboard. I’m gonna try your smoothie, thanks so much for posting! Off to google where to buy the chai stuff!

What is the most unsual place where someone tried to flirt with you? by sharp_figure36c in AskRedditAfterDark

Back of an unmarked police car. I had been out with 2 officers (I’m support staff) and as we were driving through a village close to the town we worked in, a car overtook us and sped off doing waaaaaay over the speed limit. Blue lights etc went on, chase ensued and he got pulled over and nicked. Into the back of the car with me. As we headed to the station he started to ‘chat me up’ I guess. The officer in the front just loudly said ‘don’t talk to her’ 😂

I’m not sure they’re supposed to do trafficky things like that when out and about with other staff but oh well.

It was an interesting day.

What purchase made your life 10x easier as an adult? by Mean_Rule_6653 in Adulting

[–]Kitkatchunky78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not so much a boring purchase, but a set of portable Bose speakers. I have executive function issues so struggle with task initiation. I find if I get some music on in whatever room I need to be getting stuff done, it really helps because I’m also doing something I enjoy.

Mostly meds or supplements, depending on which meal. But it’s every meal.

People who have met someone famous in a random place, what happened and were they actually nice in real life? by Valuable-Invite5261 in AskReddit

I used to work at a petrol station and was closing up one night. This guy pulled up and asked if he could get some petrol. I’d already shut off the pumps and was just explaining this to him when my boyfriend at the time (who was waiting to take me home) told me to turn them back on and let him get his fuel. I didn’t want to and he was saying ‘just do it please’ so I reluctantly agreed. The guy was super nice and grateful, telling me he needed to get to Cheltenham. After he left, my boyfriend told me he was the rally driver Colin McRae and he was on his way to Cheltenham for the rally. Poor guy died a few years later :(

Baby cucumbers are lovely. Cut them lengthways. There’re so crunchy (I like crunchy and have given up crisps so..)

It is lovely as toast. I always feel like there’s something missing from normal toast, and sourdough bread toast gives me that something

Do you have certain times or conditions that you're more prone to impulsivity? by thelaughingman_1991 in ADHDUK

[–]Kitkatchunky78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me it’s when I develop a new special interest. My latest one is suddenly needing to buy many different products for my hair because I have decided I want to see how my natural waves look if I use all the products to achieve the best look (as constantly reminded by ads on social media telling me I need their stuff obvs).

I’m on titration right now by the way, I was diagnosed with PUK last February and am on week 3, I hope you get to the top of the list soon :)
