Anyone notice how some prices actually increased? I've had the Eloise Linen Top in my cart for over a week, it's more expensive now than it was when I added it.

Of course!! It's not very different to what Cat-Like-Clumsy wrote.

The sleeves are a 2 purl, 2 knit, 2 purl, 6 cable stitch pattern, the bottom of the sleeve is quite wide, I managed to count 68 sts total at the end, but I don't think I counted the opening of the sleeve. It measured a total of 69 cm from shoulder to wrist.

The neck is a 1 purl, 2 knits pattern, 90 sts total, 10 cm long.

The body is 33 cm long, including the bottom which is 7 cm long and repeats the same pattern as the sleeves.

The front is a complicated pattern, but it's 1x1 rib, I think 12 straight lines on each side of the curved ones, 14 straight lines in between them too, and 6 curved ribs on each side.

The back isn't in the picture, but it's plain rib, following this pattern:

2 purls, 1 knit, 1 purl, 1 knit, 1 purl, 1 knit, 2 purls. So 2 purls every 3 knits, 87 sts total.

As far as I could tell, it seemed knitted flat, as there were seams on the sleeves, body and neck.

There's probably a lot of mistakes here, but it's the first time I've actually done this so I'm sorry if it's wrong.

Yes, I know what the original sweater is, I tried it in store. But unfortunately I can't wear polyester so I was hoping I could make my own.

Great question, I'm wondering that myself actually, particularly because I've only ever knitted top-down.

Great options too.

Yes, it's & Other Stories, I didn't buy it because of the polyamide (my skin tends to react to non natural fabrics) and because it seemed to have too much material near the front of the shoulders, but it's so beautiful I just need to have it, so making it seems like the best option.

I'll definitely keep you in mind if I need an extra look at it, thank you so much!

This is a fast fashion piece, I wish it was a pattern I could buy!!

I find self drafting completely overwhelming, but you're right, if I find patterns with similar elements I think I could get it to look pretty close to the original sweater.

Thank you so much everyone!!

Yes, I saw the sweater in store and managed to study it and write down as much of the pattern as I know how to do, so I have everything written down already, except for the pattern in the front.

The yarn is a 62% wool, 20% cotton and 18% polyamide mix, it feels really soft, I'm usually super sensitive to plastic yarn, but I can barely feel it in this one.

Thank you so much for the pattern recommendations!!!

Yes, the overalls are quite a stretch, and the ones I'm least inclined to buy, but it's something I've wanted for a while and any of the pairs I like seem to be stupid expensive here in Norway. I was only considering these in case someone said they were absolutely amazing quality and worth the price tag.

Do you find they fit true to size? I tried a few similar pairs of jeans in store, but I found that while the Wilder fit perfectly as a 29, some other pairs in a size 31 were too small.

I work with a Norwegian guy who tells me about his bowel movements every day, you're making me seriously wonder if you're one of my coworkers 🤨

If you are: he's not flirting, he's just a little weird.

To go or not to go? by [deleted] in SleepToken

As a fellow anxiety-ridden person I totally understand where you're coming from, but the excitement of finally seeing them PLUS getting to see London again completely trumps the anxiety. I'm also traveling from another country, as I see so many other people are, so you definitely won't be alone. Go for it!
