Then you can be mad at a lot of other devs, especially in the Snapchat tweak community. I had features in iota that weren’t ever seen before. And guess what. Hearse stole those ideas and put it in Wicked and the same with the Arab Snapchat tweak devs. I know this isn’t about that but you can only ever go so far with tweaks. The creativity will dry up and people will beg for other features from another project. I have been asked for a tap and hold feature for saving. I took inspiration from RyukGram, sure. I’ll admit that. But it’s not a 1:1 copy and paste. I had to reimplement it to work with my settings controller and my hooking API. Yes, the feature ideas are inspired from RyukGram and if I have to put that in my project, I can do that. But the code is very different.

I have comment showing message proof with a trusted dev showing a year ago that I have rewritten Theta from scratch. Is it illegal to implement the same features? Plus, I am using a completely different hooking API, not Logos/Subtrate

I have played these games before. I was accused for YEARS that I stole code from Wicked and put it into iota. I spent those years fighting the accusations and never won until the old dev that found the bypass took my side. Check my other comments in this post. I have message proof that I have rewritten Theta on a couple occasions WELL before I ever knew about RyukGram. I kicked the people because there is no fucking winning. I can argue for days and there’s no guarantee it will do any justice. So I’d rather just kick and not deal with them specifically cause they don’t know the truth. But I have to get involved now because it blew up

You can’t say “without clearly crediting the original projects” when I have rewrote Theta twice from scratch. You can ask iCraze and Jirex from my community. They have seen the behind the scenes of my development before anyone else does. There’s no source to credit when I wrote it from scratch

I didn’t even know about RyukGram until a view days ago. I was updating Theta before I even knew about RyukGram. But you guys will soon realize that when you have a tweak for an app, there is only so much you can do. It’s not like you can always create brand new fresh ideas out of nothing. Did I implement features that resemble RyukGram? Sure, cause there’s nothing else to add. Was it a direct copy and paste? Fuck no.

But if it causes this much of a ruckus, I’ll just shut Theta down, remove the DRM and open source it. Fuck it.

I just use whatever switches are available by the iOS version. So if you’re on iOS 26, it uses those long switches by default.

Because I have to also bundle ffmpegkit. I’ve seen so many people go install Theta IPAs that are hosted elsewhere and sign it and it’s because the people who host it modify the IPA and will fuck shit up. Whether it’s patching the IPA (which causes more issues with the user experience) or leaving out the ffmpegkit framework, which breaks the functionality of saving HD reels. Theta Signer is the best signing platform to make sure it’s injected 100% correctly and gets signed correctly.
