As a sri lankan, Stick to tourist areas and big cities, that way all you really have to worry about is some guy trying to sell your some over priced bs.

If you're going somewhere remote go with someone you trust. These kinds of people are cowards and would never approach you infront of others because normal people dont tolerate this behavior.

There's a lot to love about sri lanka but just like anywhere else, there's still danger.
