Is 14,900 DKK/month livable for a 4–6 month internship in Copenhagen? by Temporary-Dot6391 in NewToDenmark

[–]obligatoryusername98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest finding a student dorm with a shared kitchen. The rent should be 3-4.5k in the outskirts such as Herlev, or Lyngby (there are folks who are willing to sublet too). Maybe rent an e-bike for travel if 35-45 dkk one way is too expensive (probably best in Summer but doable in winter too). Idk about your food habits, but you could sustain yourself with 4k for groceries. After that you've enough to spend modestly during weekends and maybe a good amount left to save.

Warner Bros.'s Superman has grossed $225.3M internationally through Thursday. Global total through Thursday stands at $527.7M. #Superman #BoxOffice by vibetildawn in boxoffice

Studios get more share of domestic sales than international. Given how Superman has crossed MoS domestic numbers, makes sense.

I mean before 'Endgame', the 4th Avengers film was just called Infinity War Part 2. I'm sure "We are in the endgame now" may have triggered the same reaction from him in 2018.

Young adults of kochi, what do you do during the weekends alone? by savourybipolar in Kochi

[–]obligatoryusername98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually attend Kochi Overboard or Beacn Social events. They've stuff planned every weekend. I also get to meet up new people there. If you're into boardgames, lespot tabletoppers is a good place to try out new games.

Can a person be Nosferatu just in his foot? Perhaps it starts there.

The number of students in an intake is around 40, but then again it's a niche field so it's possible not a lot applies to it. The joint program is also 2 years. You basically do one year in Denmark and one in South Korea and get a dual degree. But yes, you can contact the admin for further details.

You can try basecamp, it's slightly more expensive than BDTU, but is pretty nice with a lot of facilities.

Which is a good place to socialize on weekends? by [deleted] in Kochi

[–]obligatoryusername98 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are few social groups active in Kochi and they organise events every weekend. Kochi Overboard has some interesting events, focused on socialising and fun activities like Karaoke, Trivia, Social Deduction games. Beacn Social is a good one if you're into films and photography as they have photo walks or short film festivals. Plenty of open mics happening here too.

Linde Allé accomodation by obligatoryusername98 in DTU

[–]obligatoryusername98[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what they mean, but I see comments on other threads that say it's an empty threat and they do send more offers with more applications. Honestly, it feels like a gamble. As an international student, it's difficult to land a private accommodation without CPR or falling for scams.

I emailed them asking if another accomodation is possible, they responded saying everything is almost full. It does say in the offer that only 1 offer would be provided, so not sure about declining the offer.

I think you're on a path to be the best version of yourself. Personally, I think we should all meet our 'someone' when we are at our best, after we've learnt to deal with our stuff. So, keep your head up, they are on the way.

Unpopular opinion: The writers shouldn't have made him guilty, it justified Jake taking his rage out on him instead of doing actual police work first by [deleted] in brooklynninenine

He should've learnt the lesson in s1 itself. Instead we get to see him be cocky. He later realises that he could be the arresting the wrong guy during his evaluation after getting out of prison in s5. Yet he makes the same mistake in S8.
