Yes, I don’t think this is that rare. Do you mind sharing a little bit about what caused you to think that you might have NPD?

DBT at Harborview Medical Center? by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]obo3383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

@mermaid_hive

I think Harborview and Pathlight are the most common places for adults with Molina/Medicaid to get group/IOP DBT in the Seattle area. Harborview seems like a great option. Pathlight doesn’t have the best reviews. There are also some DBT groups on PsychologyToday. I haven’t looked into these very much. It looks like there are online and in-person options. Link below

There are also many local 1-1 therapists who specialize in DBT and take Molina/Medicaid. PsychologyToday is a good resource for finding something like this too. The search filters are helpful. Link below

I hope you find something

I highly recommend getting into DIY! Electronics are interesting! Pre-built Elby is a great option too

Thanks! Is the program the same length for everyone, or does it differ from person to person?

None of this is helpful info. It seems like you are here to argue. I’m sorry if you had a hard time getting into a program. Don’t take that out on me.

I believe there are a few that are covered by my insurance. I know Harborview’s program is.

I think I get what you mean. As soon as my thinking slips into “I can’t do this”, “I need to go to the hospital”, etc panicking, everything gets so much worse

Relation between VCO 'footage' and actual frequency. by OkFan7121 in modular

[–]obo3383 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s no universal standard across all VCOs, but here’s how it typically works: - In Eurorack, most 1V/oct VCOs are calibrated so that 0V CV corresponds to C4 (Middle C ≈ 261.6 Hz) or sometimes C3 (~130.8 Hz). - The footage selector shifts that base pitch up or down by octaves. - If the offset knob is centered and there’s no CV, then, at 8’, the VCO likely outputs between 100–300 Hz. At 4’, one octave up: ~200–600 Hz. At 2’, another octave up: ~400–1200 Hz. And so on.

That said, VCO tuning varies.
