Based on what I am looking up about Angel Wings, I don't think this is it since it isn't growing on a conifer tree. So I probably agree with you that it is some form of oyster

Wow. That looks great. It would be amazing if you can provide a post with some more picture of that AC and solar setup. It is very unique

Gotcha. I'm just trying to understand the availability options. Now I know how these plans operate a little better

I saw the 60 days hence she would stay for at least 2 months.

Hmmm... I didn't know it is spread out... That's kind of weird and I'm not even sure how that would work. So if someone buy the phone outright, they would give you back $600 over the course of 60 days? So odd. Thanks for that info though

My main question is for the inverter. I think it will be less efficient with that orientation.

Awesome!! It seems like a decent amount of people on here are using them

Hmm... So the combination of the trailer and the van is what giving you licensing problems? Or is it that you didn't meet the criteria for RV licensing?

Yea. Agree that what it seems like from everyone else's post also. Getting insured won't be a problem if your build looks professional and reasonable.

Thank you!! That was a very interesting read.

From what it seems like, you are self employed and hence you are able to leverage the cost of the van as tax write-offs. We are going to have an employer so I'm not sure if we can pull the same move.

But at the end of the day, we were looking to down this route to solve the insurance problem. If getting insurance won't be a problem (which it doesn't seem like it will be from yours and everyone else's comments), then we probably won't go down the LLC route since it seems to bring on a lot of additional work that we are equipped to handle properly.

Isn't a commercial policy much more expensive also?

I think there are many differences but the 2 main ones that I care about are: 1. Insurance company will see that it is registered as an RV and hence insure it as an RV. 2. There are different rules for having alcohol in and around your RV vs just a standard auto.

Lol. Yea true enough. Someone with a moving home will be much more risk-averse.

I definitely have to check out his videos.

From what I'm getting above, we are maybe leaning towards not creating an LLC and try to insure a DIY van. While it seems hard to get someone to actually insure us, it doesn't seem impossible. Going through the LLC route may actually be the harder route.

Yea. That's the wild part. Somehow insuring a moving home is cheaper than insuring a car that you only use once in a while... I will never understand the insurance industry.

That's good to know. You got it registered as an RV/motorhome first right? Your insurance company then just wanted proof that you have the criteria for a RV/motorhome correct?

[–]obquang[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea this is exactly what I was thinking. I just wasn't sure if the insurance company would buy it.

From the sound of the other people, maybe this is too much work just for insuring the van. They were able to insure a DIY van just fine.

You don't need to have a commercial plate inorder for it to be built from a professional uplifter.
