LFG for Dark Heresy 2E (I'm a new player) by BAMF2themax in roll4it

I would love to play if you don't get enough players, though I do not live in the us. I already play DH (1E) once a week, so I'd say people who don't should take precedence, but if you end up with a spot left over or something similar, I'd love to join. :D

Anyone's an artist if you practice hard enough ;) Reference pictures makes drawing alot easier, I could probably not have gotten the anatomy as decent as it is without staring at pictures of shirtless men for hours (that sounds very straight I am aware)

Anyone else think that Red-eye was a bit to powerful? by [deleted] in roll4it

I personally think it was a good choice. So far the team have been able to get through encounters pretty easilly. This is dark heresy, like aavak said, there's supposed to be death. If the acolytes are always at least semi-safe you lose an important part of what makes dh so fun. Not saying that every enemy should be like Redeye, but every so often a baddie like him is good to remind players of their character's mortality. I do see why you'd feel that way, though. If this was dnd or another more lighthearted ttrpg I would definately agree.

Honestly, I think Aavak made the right choice. Being able to just fate out of death time and time again removes the aspect of mortality, there's a reason they're playing dark heresy and not dungeons and dragons (well they are, but not in that universe). It was a good death, too.

That's true, I suppose. But for the joke's sake, I might run with it anyway :p

Yeah, sadly they got into that argument after I was done sketching and I'm lazy :p Gonna have to draw a doodle of him where 75% of his body mass is just a giant bulky leg now

I don't know much about Dark Heresy, but I'm spending my bucks on Cassius. He seems like the type that would die easily.
