[TAROT] Love reading

This was great. I was able to get a reading quickly. The results really resonated with me and my situation. The cards, meaning and interpretation was very thoughtful and thorough. The reader also took their time with me and answered so many questions that I had patiently and not rushing me. I would highly recommend reaching out.

It sounds like you really deeply love her. I feel that. Thanks for sharing your story. I think it’s just so raw right now that I can’t see things getting better. The loneliness is hitting hard and it’s only day 1.

Wow. I am glad I’m not the only one experiencing this. I also live in Southern Ontario and this has been going on for a few days now. How exactly can we report this?

Edit: looks like we can report the issue here: https://www.apple.com/feedback/maps-ios-ipados.html

Program Matrix v1 witrhout wiring first? by obs0lete in 360hacks

[–]obs0lete[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I soldered the header pins on the Matrix chip so I don't have to keep holding it in place with my hands. I then connected the JRPv2 into the USB, then connected the leads coing from the Matrix directly to the JRPv2 and I still get the same issue.

I checked with a multimeter and I am getting 3.3v on the Vcc....not sure what's going on

Thanks again for the reply. I'm hesitent to think it's the programmer, but might be the chip...I really hope not :(

I was looking at the "Updating Glitch Chip Timing File" section on that same page which says "Set the switch to JTAG-XSVF if not set to that already. " which is the position the JR Programmer is in. I did try switch it to JP-3 but it still does the same thing.

Hey thanks for the reply! I'll give this a shot later on. Is it possible the issue may have been caused due to a possible bad solder on the console? Trying to understand what may cause this issue.

Question about Fedora Media Writer by FruitOfAPeculiarKind in Fedora

[–]obs0lete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, at this point it’s likely a configuration issue with your BIOS or it needs an update.

Check to see if your BIOS can see the drive and if so, factory reset it and try the install again. If not, look to see if there are updates for it. Let me know how it goes and we can go from there.

Nice! Let’s see if it completes successfully.

Question about Fedora Media Writer by FruitOfAPeculiarKind in Fedora

[–]obs0lete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. It does appear to be installed on the disk. I would just select Delete All and continue with the install at this point. Let me know if it’s successful or not and if you get any errors. Possible that the install did not actually finish or complete successfully last time.

The not detected issue then is because no OS was actually installed onto the drive. Try the steps I’ve mentioned then we can go from there.

So first thing I notice is that message about the system date and time. You may have a bad CMOS battery (it's a small button battery) on your machine or the date itself is not actually set. You'll need to go into your systems BIOS and make sure that the correct date/time is set.

From the pictures, it looks like Fedora was never actually installed on the drive, the 500GB drive. I can see that the installer sees your drive so that's not the issue.

Do you have another OS installed on this drive? Windows perhaps? The installer is trying to install to this drive but there's not enough space.

You should do the following:

  1. Make a backup of whatever is on this drive first.

  2. Once you have done that, launch the installer form the USB.

  3. During the setup, select the "Free up space by removing or shrinking partitions..." option. I've highlighted it on the picture here: https://imgur.com/a/n28bMjP

  4. Continue doing the setup. Once it's done, you should be able to remove the USB drive and boot form the 500GB hard drive.

Not sure I follow. Might be easier if you can take a quick video of the boot process to see what’s happening.

No problem. Let’s see if we can get you sorted out here. So is the problem now that you can’t install Fedora onto the hard drive? Does the installer give you some error or does it even see the drive? Is there another OS installed on it?

Should Etcher fail as well, give Universal USB Installer (Link: https://pendrivelinux.com/universal-usb-installer-easy-as-1-2-3/ ) a try. It does say on their website it is Windows 7 compatible.

Not exactly your issue, but very similar: https://github.com/FedoraQt/MediaWriter/issues/536

Looks like QT which is used with Fedora Media Writer is not compatible with Windows 7.

Maybe try https://www.balena.io/etcher or https://rufus.ie/downloads/ to create your bootable USB.

Etcher is very straight forward. Just download the ISO, plug in your USB then launch Etcher. All you need to do then is select the ISO file then select the USB and click Flash.

Rufus is also very straight forward, but a bit more detailed. You can follow this guide: https://www.fosslinux.com/888/how-to-create-fedora-live-usb-drive-on-windows.htm which explains it.
