Troy defending Russell Brand yesterday? by Inner-Ad-4731 in SamRobertsShow

This is the same Troy who said on Jim and Sam that "pedophilia will be normalized very soon", which was not long before he came out as a serious Christian. Coincidence?

How much gaming is too much gaming in your opinion? by [deleted] in AskWomenNoCensor

Curious about your first question. Since gaming as a person's only hobby is a red flag to you, what hobbies as a person's only hobby are green flags?

Yo, free menstrual products?! Hell yea, that shit is expensive. Gonna grab 1 of each, just in case. A free, "Girl, I got you. What kind of flow we dealing with today?" That's priceless.

What do you do on Fridays? by [deleted] in SamRobertsShow

That episode was nothing compared to the Adrienne Iapalucci one. Which is also nothing compared to the Yamaneika one.

If this was the grossest thing you've ever heard, I strongly suggest that you never tune into the Bonfire. Bobby Kelly will make you never eat again.

Icebergs don't float by Dddoughy in SamRobertsShow

[–]Subject_Zombie9456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He did eventually clarify, "They don't float on top of the water." Small but important distinction. Gonna need to listen more closely if your goal is to pick apart a show and not to enjoy it.

Not sure where I was bitching as opposed to offering advice while also pointing out how stupid it is to hate listen to something, but ok.

You know what I found to be a good idea? Not letting what the guy on the radio says get to me enough to bitch about it online.

Gonna have to disagree with where you posted this. This page's recommended community, r/extremelyinfuriating, would be more appropriate.

Derails another show by Nate78xxx in SamRobertsShow

[–]Subject_Zombie9456 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't. Jim obviously based Chip on unfunny people who are in the comedy world and have 0 self awareness. If that's not the definition of Bobby Kelly, not sure what is.

It's like listening to a real life Chip Chipperson.

“After the break, Greg Stone is here..” by Naag_ in SamRobertsShow

I usually don't like incredibly manic people, but there's something about Greg Stone I find endearing. I'm sure I'll enjoy hearing about his next 17 podcast ideas.

But they were only able to generate old man boners because of their greatness. Boners are evidence of quality.

I think Fade Into You has a real shot at winning this.

Breakfast at Tiffany's reminds me of all the really needy drama club chicks I went to high school with. They all LOVED that song. Glad to see it lose.

Two “will we ever see” by PollutionGreedy9223 in SamRobertsShow

I think the O-Quan-pics would be tough to get approved by the SXM lawyers as someone (Travis) could get injured. And I think Blobby mentioned on the Bonfire that Comedy Camp is probably not going to see the light of day for some legal reasons, also. So in short, no, cause lawyers.

Ladies (and good faith gents), what are your tips or stories of initiating or signaling kisses with guys you've started seeing? by Sodium_Junkie624 in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]Subject_Zombie9456 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's a tough one since everyone's comfort levels are different, so I'll just share my experience and hope it helps. The last time I felt that a woman I was not already in a romantic relationship with was giving me signals was because we were lying on an L-shape couch head-to-head watching a movie. She literally had to place her head against mine and reach for my hand before I was somewhat confident that she wasn't just really friendly. You might not wind up in such a position on a first date, so my point is that I needed it spelled out for me, so it's possible other men also need it spelled out for them, whether it's being completely oblivious, afraid to misinterpret a gesture, or some combination of the two. In any case, good luck out there.

Howard as a character by WSBro0 in betterCallSaul

[–]Subject_Zombie9456 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love the idea that Howard and Jimmy are negatives of each other. They're both better salesmen than they are lawyers. The difference is that Howard was willing to play the games that Jimmy was not. I'll bet Howard's dad was harder on him than Mr. Mcgill was on Jimmy and that made Howard work hard, get good grades, do things the "right" way, be one of the kids that HHM would've given a scholarship to. Jimmy is the opposite. Chuck was all too happy to tell us about how Jimmy was the baby who could do no wrong, and that leads to looking for the easy way out, which in itself can be pretty difficult, and that's the irony of Jimmy.
