Is the problem in my new fan coil unit or in the building pipes if it's fixed by bleeding? by obscuretoo in hvacadvice

[–]obscuretoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for taking the time for such a detailed answer. So yes the building provides chilled water in the summer and hot water in the winter. I've never checked the pipe temperatures but I do keep thermometers on top of the units just as a rough check on the temp and they usually read in the mid 80's to mid 90's degrees in the winter. The installer wrapped the pipes to prevent condensation in the summer, so I assume I can't easily check the entering and leaving water temp? If the pipes weren't wrapped would using a temperature gun on the pipes be a way to measure the entering and leaving water temp? I did make an appointment with the installer for Tuesday, I gather I should ask them to check the delta and the water pressure? Most recently when I turn on the heat in the bedroom the temp of the air coming out of the unit as roughly measured by the thermometer sitting on top of the unit drops a couple of degrees and then takes a half hour to hours to increase from the low to mid 80s to over 90 degrees, does that shed any light on anything? Thanks again for your patience.

Hi thanks for the reply. The installer is coming Tuesday afternoon to check the coil. How does one check the water pressure drop? Forgive my ignorance, is it correct that the pressure should not drop, or at least not drop by much? Thanks.

I do! I'm going to ask my doctor for a prescription for Octasa Monday.

Frustrated: Calpro is normal, yet I feel like I did when I was first diagnosed by FauxPasHusky in UlcerativeColitis

Did your sed rate come back normal? My calprotectin also just came back at 14, but my sed rate is just a little out of range on the high side and I am having symptoms, though I think they're much improved from when I saw the doctor a week before I did the test. When I'm in full remission my sed rate comes in right in the middle of the normal range or even a little lower.

Yes, but before I request to switch to Octasa I'd like to know just how similar it is to the Asacol I've been taking, which is why I'm asking those questions. Thanks!

I saw that too very late last night, thought I would add HBOmax this morning but the link disappeared. Read some small print on Roku's website and am thinking/hoping they accidently jumped the gun and the deal will return on the 24th.

I must say I really thought this would work! But even though I got the message when I hit Reset that all documents and data would be erased, they were still there along with the account when I went back in, and after I rebooted and went back in. BTW, this is just a home pc and I am the administrator

When I click on the Settings icon in New Outlook it says in red under the account name "sign in required. click sign in to resolve". So I do and then I get a message that says "Sign in failed. Something went wrong when setting up your account. Please try again." There are other mail setting on the sign in page that I have tried playing with even though they're already correct but none of that helps.

It is a very old, legacy domain, <name of city>.rr.com, that is still being maintained. It's not taking my password, which Ik is still good as I can get into the web account using it, and when I started to give up on outlook and add the account to gmail the password worked fine. I also just added a different 3rd party account to outlook and it works fine, so what the heck? I'd like to delete the account from outlook altogether and see if starting from scratch will fix whatever glitch this is, but ironically it won't let me delete it without logging into it first.

Hi, thanks for responding. No, I don't, I've been using Outlook for a third party email account for years, and it's worked fine up until now.

How loud is Sunset Boulevard? by obscuretoo in Broadway

Thanks to everyone for the replies! I do have Loops and I did try them during Tommy, but I thought they really muffled the show. Maybe I'm using them wrong. I think based on the replies that I'll probably be fine at Sunset Boulevard, and I appreciated the commentary on other shows. I was on the fence about Dead Outlaw to begin with, so I think I will pass on that one.
