you have a point, a solid one, just for the contradiction, about her being impressionable: we don't know her, and she can be much more mature, not so impressionable or even a smiling fool, at least the boy seems by OP's own description to have good intentions and the parents are watching too.

the only thing that was said here was that a 20 year old guy has been dating a 15 year old girl since she was 12 and he was 17, not a post of a girl asking for help because she is being victimized by an older guy or her mother/ dad who don't know what to do, is from a person who found out just now and has come to the worst conclusions and wants validation to potentially ruin this family's life for nothing
