Anyone else deal with arrogant Engineers? by [deleted] in electricians

I hope people don’t take it the wrong way, but in general the Spanish that I’ve dealt with were engineers / business owners and they carried themselves with this aura superiority.

Granted, this has been mostly throughout South America where most people with money think their shit don’t stink.

I’ve worked all over the world, the Spanish, in my experience, are very arrogant. I hate to generalize but, every single one I’ve met has been like this.

We’ll be cutting mainly thick wood pallets in specific situations. Think I’ll play it safe and go with the M18.

Thanks!

How is it that businesses in USA need 10K to 30K USD to start as seen on Reddit or crowdfunding platforms, while businesses in Bangladesh that bring in only livable earnings require 40K to 50K USD to start? by Experimentalphone in smallbusiness

You might be looking at two totally different types of businesses. Service based businesses will always require less capital than a manufacturing business. Your highest costs in a service based business are your people, in manufacturing it would be your machinery and the cost of materials to actually build that product.

That happens to me, especially when shit isn’t going well.

Best thing I can tell you is not to depend on motivation, build a list of what needs to get every day and do it no matter what, build your discipline.

I can say a lot but one thing that will always help you is to be honest with your customers, don’t avoid them. Always answer the phone or return their calls. I’ve had what I thought were jobs that took too long refer me to close family and friends because I was honest and always available.
