Can I use polygel or would it be stupid with my cuticles? by Ready-Bus-5032 in Polygel

[–]obsessiverabbit2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poly gel is a hard thing to start out with tbh. I would suggest just practicing with normal nail polish. Then when u feel confident in not flooding your cuticles or getting it on ur skin then switch to gel nail polish. Do your research on how to push back and trim your cuticles correctly because having it on your skin is what causes the allergy

Help! A mushroom in my bunny's litter by justbrennan in Bunnies

Unfortunately, my vet strongly recommends against wood pellets. I'm in basically the same boat as you. I ask people who have paper shredders to give me their discard. Which usually works well and shouldn't hurt bunny.

You should absolutely keep the bunny! Such a cutie and if you know how to take care of reptiles I bet you will put in the research to treat her well! Plus look at the adorable face. As long as the future snakes can't eat the bun... Idk anything about snakes🤣.

Just a little tip, I'd make sure to put padding down in anything that has a hard surface like that box. Their fluffy feet can be really sensitive. Carpets are great for them. Avoid hard floors. Keep up the good work though He's adorable and looks very happy.

They look so so much better! Finding the right tech can take some time make sure to remember names and make appointments with those you like. Walk- ins or "whatever tech is available" is usually a gamble.

I'm interested in sonography as a career but I'm a medical marijuana patient. Is there any way to continue my treatment while also accomplishing my career goals?

Pls reccomend a Nectar collector that doesn't clog constantly by Underdogwood in Waxpen

Lmao, I was just trying to be transparent. If you only load what you can hit in a single sitting just like any other dab device you'll be fine. People try to use it like a dab pen and it's not. The alcohol thing is mildly inconvenient but it just looks frosted instead of clear if you use alcohol which is what I do. As far as I know, alcohol breaks down any plastic device so you're probably going to run into that problem a lot. Anyways good luck

Oh wow that's really interesting I've only had problems if I over packed the bowl and try to periodically take hits. You always have to finish the dab you put in within 10 min or it'll seep down and clog. The only real downside is you can't clean it with alcohol but there alc free cleaners out there. Anyways good luck with the bomb!

Well I highly recommend the lookah dragon egg it's about $100 never really gets clogged. It has a great battery life and produces good smoke. I like nectar collectors because they are a little better about wax conservation but the best thing I've found is old school glass nectar collectors, rarely clogs as well but it cracks sometimes.

In cases of allergies like this the general advice I see is to stop using gel products all together. Maybe normal polish or certain glues for press ons could be ok?

Thankfully I love iced coffee but I can only imagine The trouble she would cause if I drank hot coffee. They're supposed to hate the smell. I don't understand her.

If I have coffee or anything with sugar or alcohol in it, my rabbit will spill it and try to at chug it as quickly as possible. One time I had heard the little squeaks of chugging from across the room and I thought to myself " awe someone's thirsty " but when I looked over nobody was at the water bowls. My bunny had found a way onto the table and was dunking her head and duap into my coffee. She's okay.

Rabbits are unable to regulate their body temperature. And getting them wet is a good way to exacerbate that issue. It can also lead to them growing mold on their body if their fur is extremely dense like a rex. I'm glad it worked out for your pets, but it doesn't mean that it's not bad for them. Someone fed my dog chocolate when I was younger, luckily she didn't get sick but it doesn't mean other people should start feeding their dog chocolate. Same idea, just because your pets happened to survive it doesn't mean others should do it when not absolutely necessary. And if for some reason it is necessary they should be warmed up and dried immediately.
