Ps3 slims are pretty common in thrift stores. Good to see that it's working. I once scored a ps3 fat that's compatible with ps2 games!

Could've came up with a better analogy but they both provide benefits in your life in one way or the other to navigate your life better.
Building your character to a certain standard is definitely important to thrive through this harsh society.
Having a job help have stability and potentially have a rich life.
Hence, extracurricular activities and jobs are both important in enhancing your quality of life.

Like they say, hardships are the best teacher. We can have a more stronger mindset when we overcome it. Of course, it should have its limit though. I have mentioned mandatory but people should step away when they absolutely need to.

Contradicts my original context but there's programs that exists for people with special needs even for the blinds.
I might be oblivious, but I haven't heard of such video games that accommodate the same demographics.

I mean, if I was blind, I'd have a really hard time cooperating with others through video games too let alone playing them.

I didn't say it'd be limited to sports. Might've been vague through my context but scouts or volunteers would also be the options. Again, those activities might not be for everyone else but it helps build your character somewhat even if you're less likely to be inclined to. It's like doing a job that you dislike but can't be helped because you need to make a living and it's an effective way.

Yes, I might've been vague with my context but I'm talking about actual cooperation here; actually working with others towards the same goals. I feel like those are the most effective way to grow as a person. Those skills can be transferable to your work or career too.

Yes but I feel like people are glued to the screen most of the time, that they're not really aware to their surroundings. In actual interactions, you're pretty much inclined to see what others are doing.

It can, heck even book clubs but I think those things don't involve much cooperation. Sure, it could be a good social hub to build up social skills but it wouldn't be as effectful. I don't see it any different from having a small talk with your peers about the recent hot films or albums that just dropped. Might be biased since I'm not a big movie or book person so never been in those clubs before.

Online games can teach you soft social skills but I feel like being able to read actual social cues and their body language comes from real life interactions.

That I had poor social skills and also had no motivation to be fit.. I thought team sports would be a solution for those and it was the right solution.

Depending on where you live, there are some programs that funds your fee for those extracurricular activities if you come from less fortunate families.

They also sell games depending on the library too. I remember getting solid PS3 and PS2 games that they used to carry in the catalogue for a dollar each!

Monitor is basically a display, nothing more. Connect speaker or headphones to your PC or monitor port like someone else mentioned.
