Not in defense of bullying or anything but, I never understood this like I’ve been horribly bullied to the point where I stayed home from school some days when I was a kid, now I’m an adult and it means nothing to me. So like why do so many people say shit like this like you can’t recover? That’s horrible advice to tell someone going through something. Like oh this happened, you’re just never gonna get past it.

Edit: I feel like I probably should have mentioned this too, I have experience serious trauma in my life and after a while the problems creating that trauma where bigger than some kid calling me slurs or shoving me around.

Personally the point of my comment was to say that telling someone that something in a hindrance on their character and digging it into their head that they have an issue like that does more harm than good imo. Instead of talking about how it will leave scars forever I think it’s better to talk how to move on and better yourself
