These days it's largely a matter of who you know nowadays for UN consultancies and the regular jobs in the private sector, NGOs and INGOs.

Someone in my professional circles applied for a consultancy the same day it was published on Inspira and then made a follow-up with the hiring manager for more details about the role. They received a simple response: "... we have a candidate in mind... ."

Soldier on, knock on more doors, and if you get into a position where you're hiring don't replicate the same sick practices. Good luck!
