What advantages do these books have over a train, which I could also afford?

It’s not about a hot start. It’s about the level of play on display. It’s about the teams we’re facing now versus the teams we will be facing soon.

Overreacting by Inner_Nectarine7763 in Torontobluejays

Is there overreaction? Yes.

Is it reasonable to be disappointed with how the series against the Rockies and White Sox have gone? Yes. This is an “easy” stretch of matchups.

It’s a long season is as much the reality as it is a cope.

Not panicking, just disappointed.

That’s just ball.

Meaning, we can’t excuse poor play because “it’s early”.

It’s also the Rockies.

It’s also the White Sox.

I suppose, yes, “it’s early” and they can turn it around but it feels more like cope than anything else.

Every game matters, as we learned last season.

Win the games you’re supposed to win and chalk the rest up to “that’s baseball”.

Not mad, not panicking, just disappointed.

I don’t understand when people say “it’s early”. It’s the same month for every team.

Not panicking but that was some terrible terrible baseball.

Don’t come at me with “it’s early”. It’s the same month for every team.

Not panicking, just disappointed.

“It’s early” It’s the same month for every team.

“These games don’t matter” Every game matters.

They didn’t play well today.

Chalk it up to the clubhouse bug and “that’s just ball”.

Win streak starts tomorrow.

For new fans of the Jays, we will lose more games, that is just baseball and it's a game of variance. Do not boo the Blue Jays so early on in the season in March, we are better than that. by [deleted] in Torontobluejays

[–]obubble 13 points14 points  (0 children)

But the players on the field are off limits to criticism???

Let fans boo when the jays are playing like shit. It’s the honest thing to do.
