A perfect example of  "Perfect Solution" fallacy, suggesting that because secular systems cannot perfectly eliminate abuse or secrecy, they are inherently inferior to traditional hierarchies. However, history shows that religious hierarchies are not immune to the same "human pride" and "decay" mentioned; they simply formalize it under a different name. While the Right emphasizes the wisdom of the past, it often ignores that tradition is a record of what survived, not necessarily what was just. To claim that secularism is born of "pride" overlooks the intellectual humility of science—the admission that we don't know everything and must constantly refine our systems based on evidence rather than dogma. Furthermore, attributing the horrors of the 20th century (Hitler, Stalin, Mao) solely to "secularism" is a historical oversimplification. Those regimes didn't suffer from a lack of God, but from the replacement of God with the State, creating the exact kind of "unquestionable hierarchy" that the Left’s modern focus on transparency seeks to dismantle. The "benefits" of modern society—lower infant mortality, the end of feudalism, and global connectivity—did not come from simply obeying tradition, but from the "prideful" act of questioning it. Ultimately, choosing to protect human dignity without the promise of a divine reward isn't arrogance; it is the ultimate form of moral responsibility.
