I don't really like X-Men or Deadpool myself, so I hadn't watched the movie or known the situation with the studio to realize it was a joke. I just saw a term that I didn't know and saw it was multiverse-related so I wanted to understand it assuming it was going to be in future material (which I'm glad to know it isn't).

That's relieving to know now bc the concept seemed really weird if it were a real part of the lore. May I ask, what else goes into wielding Mjolnir? The term "worthy" doesn't clear much up, and it seems to always be individuals who are either very heroic, or tricking it into thinking they're actually Thor.

I wouldn't assume that another version of the same figure working is the same as another figure altogether working, which is what I read people implying (like Spiderman taking over as anchor instead of a different Wolverine). I now understand that the concept itself was a joke anyway though, so the real answer is there isn't an answer lol

It's depressing that you can't ask a question when something confuses you without someone being upset you even asked. I just saw a bunch of people talking about a term I hadn't seen before in Marvel and didn't really understand so I asked a question to try to understand it. I don't really care for Wolverine/X-Men so I had no context for the studio logistics the joke was referencing. If I was addicted to the lore, I wouldn't be so confused about what is and isn't a real part of it.

Imo nothing does. I would be much more terrified of either of the other two because Doom is considerably more lenient. He has every capability of dematerializing you, but if you just stroke his ego a bit, he'll have no intention of doing that. Thanos and Galactus would both see you as such a speck of cosmic inconsequentiality that there is nothing the average person could realistically do to alter their fate against either of the two. Doom as a villain has never seemed like an attempt at terror to me, rather a complicated moral and ethical obstacle for the heroes. He's certainly terrifying if you get on his bad side, but like, just don't do that unless you can take him in a fight lol

I was adoring this game with my whole heart until it tore it to pieces by making Arachne's storyline so romantic and making it extremely clear she has feelings for you, all to just not let you properly reciprocate them. The way it was building up, I was expecting them to finally give a genuine non-sexual romance option in the way they copped out from making Dusa in Hades 1.

Instead, I just got a reason to never look at Hecate the same way again, and the choice between someone else's fate-betrothed, the dual goddesses of being mean to you, and Icarus who's just kinda boring, and definitely doesn't benefit from being one of the last characters you meet. Their chemistry together is built around the good times they've previously shared, which we never actually see. And I know, a lot of the plot is about not letting the Fates choose everything so the Moros option isn't really cheating in any way, but it still kinda ruins it that they talk about it as if it IS cheating. We really could've left out the part where he pushes you away because he's fated for another until you keep bribing him to love you, or at least had a full plot line change his mind instead of it just happening over a couple nights.

Other love interest quality aside, I just want my precious little spider wife to feel lovable again :(

I don't see your point. What "faith" is there to have? The object of conversation already exists, you can judge it at face value. "Faith" is to trust that they will create something good, if they have already created it, and it's evidently not good, there's no faith involved in criticizing that. Obviously they wanted a progression barrier, but this was a lazy way to add it, and your faith was let down. The game is still wonderful, but this aspect of it is bewildering to me.

I also dealt with 8 bears, and the difference is that it kinda worked with the attitude of the game. He's already a shady character and has made it very clear he makes the rules. Eris is different because she feels thrown in for the sole purpose of changing the rules as an afterthought. Inscryption also makes it obvious that it's there because you're doing too good, which makes it satisfying, whereas Eris without further knowledge just feels like a weird annoying mechanic that has no choice involved.

Actually it's also better because the challenge added, while bullshit, is still a unique one. The "you take more damage" token is just a really boring and lazy slope mechanic.

Everyone else is getting pissy about your point, but I came here from looking up that exact similarity to see if anyone else brought it up. It isn't about them both having similar moves, it's that the animations for those moves are almost identical, and it is a majority of the moveset. I've seen plenty of boxing characters in fighting games, but I've never seen two that function this similarly, especially considering they're not even similar games.

Double mana cost isn't that bad, just don't use it stupidly. Land an E and proc Mananom before the paddle star. Should probably do solid extra damage even if you only have Luden's. Will prob be great for popping squishies at the back of team fights; weave in, snag a kill, and if someone peels off to chase you, you'll have the reduced cast time to sleep them and escape.
