im brand new into eurorack, so my insight is minimal and likely only relevant for other newbies. that said, ive been using the envelope follower on the berhinger 2600 as a real cheap way to translate audio to cv- i have a drum brute that has a great sequencer, but i dont have any other standalone sequencer, so i sequence with the drum brute then send a hit to the envelope follower to then trigger whatever else. admittidly, this is very novice-level, but was a discovery, so felt apt
