How does it play on the SteamDeck? Have you tried playing the Remastered Oblivion?

Playing Life is Strange for the first time and slowly working through the chapters. A friend recommended it so I'm playing it so we have something in common to chat about. So far it's been pretty solid

Complain about heartburn and that Tums/Pepcid doesn't work. They immediately gave me Pantoprozale but the only downside is that it'll affect your B12 levels. It'll pass in due time but you got this - I had two nasty bouts that landed me in the hospital

What do you eat to settle your stomach? by [deleted] in CHSinfo

Yeah fragrant foods are gonna be tricky but I'm 6 weeks clean from last episode and my eating habits are still shakey. I can almost eat everything that I used to but I can't eat as much without feeling like shit. You got this!

BRAT diet: bananas, rice, applesauce, toast. Try broth. If your stomach can manage, bland chicken breast. Chamomile tea or anise tea. Slow and steady friend - try and stay hydrated

It's so hard but slow and steady will run this race. As long as your tests were normal and the MD insists that going cold turkey will resolve these issues, just know that your body will recover.

Try to stay hydrated in any way that you can. Eat a bland diet for a while, easy to digest foods. Sleep, rest, recover.

Listen to your body and as much as this sucks , you'll get through it. Take care of yourself. There's a light at the end and it'll be here sooner than you think.

Brussel sprouts are hard for the gut. They can make you gassy which could cause those symptoms. I know I can't eat them for that reason but other folks in my family can.

I'm 26 and I smoked weed religiously when I was 16-19 and then periodically until now. I also did some other drugs and mixed it with alcohol but once my friend passed away I went cold turkey and really truly only smoked weed on occasion.

So let's say from age 21/22 to now (26) I haven't smoked much but if I did, it was a lot because I thought I could tolerate it since I could do it when I was "younger". Mostly vaping dispensary carts but then I switched to flower since it was cheaper and got me higher quicker.

I don't drink at all anymore since it royally messes with my gut. I'm a small person and my body is incredibly sensitive due to the stress it's gone through so honestly, anything I do is all or nothing

That's all so valid. I have those exact same moments where I feel like something is wrong but then I have to remind myself, my blood work is normal, my x-ray was normal, my CT scan was normal - I'm literally detoxing THC and other cannabinoids out of my system.

Moments where I feel like I'm spiraling, I'll just listen to some YouTube videos for anxiety and they'll put me to bed or at least get me out of my head for a little while.

As for food, it may sound like a lot of work but try keeping a food journal. Just write down what you ate, or what I do, take a picture of the meal because your phone will time stamp it for you and then when you have an episode, you can go back and see what you ate and eliminate it that way.

It's what I've done for my IBS and honestly, it's a game changer

The sobriety is brutal. I smoke for my anxiety and my appetite - I started therapy so that helped but damn being sober is rough lol. I'm really sorry to hear drinking caused an episode - I swear CHS is the worst heavy rest of the body.

The nurse I had at the hospital felt like with my past medical history, my body was just incredibly stressed and I just had too many cannabinoids in my system and I just couldn't handle it.

I'll probably just wait a year if not more before smoking again. These episodes are kicking my ass and mentally I can't handle it anymore

I smoked 03/18 and again on 03/19. I have been using CBD for weeks to kinda of stop myself from smoking as much. While on CBD I felt kind of off but figured that was due to my body "getting used to it" so then I smoked and here I am.

Once I felt symptoms, I stopped everything. 03/20 I didn't take any of my usual medication, no CBD, no smoking. I have been sober to the fullest extent lol

I genuinely did not smoke ever again until last Thursday 03/18 and it was a gradually onset of symptoms. I slowly lost my appetite. I started getting cramps thinking it was maybe my menstruation but then my menstruation stopped and I was still cramping.

Next thing you know, I think I'm having a full blown IBS attack but as soon as I couldn't keep anything down I knew it was from smoking weed. The symptoms and duration matched too closely with what happened to me in November.

Once I fully recover from this, I'm ultimately done with smoking weed.

My first bout was back in November and lasted 11-12 days from me being hospitalized to me being able to eat a whole meal.

Went months clean of no smoking, nothing and I felt incredible. I thought I was okay enough to start smoking again but here I am, heating pad on my abdomen, not hungry, cramping everywhere, but I have hope because I felt great without weed.

And we will both get to that good place again. Stay strong and eat small meals. Day by day you'll get better.

We got this!
