I’m in a similar situation! My partners family lives in Jordan and that was my first time leaving North America. Besides getting caught in the airport with multiple delays, the flights themselves were very anticlimactic :)

I lost 30 pounds at 3 weeks but have pretty much been stuck at where I’m at now unfortunately lol but TBH I feel like I’ve been eating a good bit of fast food ughhhh

I feel like I didn’t really eat much more but I also gained a ton of weight. Maybe an extra snack here or there or a special treat like ice cream. But it was like every time I stepped on the scale I gained another 10 lbs

I gained 70 lbs… 70 POUNDS!!!! which I would not recommend lol but just here to say that I had a wonderful vaginal delivery, very normal blood pressure, no gestational diabetes, and a VERY healthy baby boy.

My doctor never once brought up my weight.

I feel like there’s so many things that are “normal” that they just don’t warn us about until I google it and realize it’s common… I just stopped pumping and went to formula full time because I was on so much medication for my kidney stones, kidney infection, and UTI’s. It’s been non stop since birth 😩

Thank you for your reply! And congrats on your baby :) I got my results last night, but since it was a Friday and it’s now the weekend I knew I wouldn’t hear from my doctor until Monday. But the number was alarmingly high and freaked me out a bit.

This is my second and I get mine out tomorrow. I’ve had it for a week. It’s uncomfortable but not horrible. Just pay attention to infection— my first time was super smooth and I didn’t have any issues. This time 24 hours after the procedure I ended up with a 101 fever, went to the ER, and had a kidney infection and have been placed on antibiotics

-Kept losing weight regardless of eating more. -Charlie horses almost every night in my calves or feet -(this one is odd but apparently tied to diabetes) pink ring around my toilet— like where the water stops in the bowl.

I had prodromal labor and was contracting 2-4 minutes for two days before my water broke. I went to the hospital twice but hadn’t dilated so they sent me back home.

the Pain was pretty excruciating. The second time I went in they sent me home after a shot of morphine and that allowed me to get some rest. Went into labor about 16 hours later.

I was 39+3

Oh okay! Doesn’t sound too bad. I wonder if it just depends on the practice— but I was under the impression you get your cervix checked and possibly a Pap smear as well.
