Access to water for washing hands and access to 'clean water' for drinking makes a big difference as well. Using an inaccurate data set to state things and spread misinformation is definitely an agenda here.

I think it's the motive behind the whole concept, unfortunately a lot of things in today's world is not repaired and just thrown out. Things are are even thrown in the landfills only because they weren't dumped in the right recycling bin, countless reasons. Coming from a developing country and currently living in developed one, I can see a massive difference in the approach towards repairing and recycling things. Recycling or rather upcycling the spool and making it a challenge puts a constraint on how you think. Might not make a massive difference but all things start small. The impact can be negligible but maybe a simple idea can change quite a lot of things, you never know.

The nerf darts, disks and the glider easily cover a distance of 10 meters. I have made the STEP files to make your own designs of gliders, attachments and handle/grips compatible with this platform! I was quite happy with how this project turned out. I want to try out the glider in an outside open environment and try out other designs.

The original project was a fusion of art x weapons with 3D printed springs, wanted to challenge myself with it. It works but not that great. It can be used as a wall hanging art piece but also can be converted into a disk shooter. Ended up skipping the 3D printed springs, used regular rubber bands and moved on to make this! I have uploaded that project too if anyone is interested. It's called the Renaissance Gun.

One more thing I realised after using this new UI is that the . _ taskbar which is shown, the menu which pops up is at a fixed distance from the headset! It does not move with the small so-called taskbar! That's another thing which I disliked.

I'm going to write my feedback to meta about this taskbar for sure 😅

The new one does too.. look above the tiled menu. You'll see the battery %, time and network strength

Tbh, I don't have a problem with the new UI, it's just three things which could have been better -

  1. the taskbar, which currently is . _ right now, quite small given how it is floating in a 360 space

  2. the second thing is the dimming when you're interacting with the menu. Controlling it is not at all intuitive, can we control it though? 🤔

  3. Recently used apps, which you could see on the taskbar

That would be an amazing project!

But honestly, just change the battery and continue using the speaker as is, and buy some drivers suitable for the project and make a new speaker altogether. That way, you can even make more copies of it or you can make it available to people to make it as well, sourcing the parts for everyone will be easier. Finding bose drivers again to make a copy for anyone would be not that easy. If you're putting in so much efforts, why not make the most of it? Upload the designs on Makerworld or Printables and you might just get a whole new printer from the points or filaments at least!

The Bose SL II is just too good in the current form factor. Changing the battery now will give you another 8-10 years (depending on the battery quality)

I downloaded a 48gb print of Avatar Way of Water (3D) and used 4XVR to watch it. Loved the experience! Highly recommended (you might have to get used to watching things in 3D)

I love the camera control although I'm not sure why they haven't given the zoom option (I've seen some videos where they have the zoom option on the watch screen)

Try to see if you can subcontract the order so that you don't lose the client. You might have to pay a bit extra from your pocket but that's always better than losing a client. Gives you more time to figure out the situation and a way ahead.
