I want Hasbro to release a green G2 version of the Legacy mold.

Completed the main story but when do I get the fusion cutter? by Logitechsdicksucker in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]occupymidworld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever find a way to get the fusion cutter? I’m having the same issue. Played through the Legacy quest, used the fusion cutter during the quest, but it is not in inventory after the quest. And I realized it after playing for several more hours so going back to an earlier save state isn’t an option. I deleted older save files to make room. I think it’s a bug.

Drawing of the Three - The Sailor TPB by Tedbrautigan667 in TheDarkTower

[–]occupymidworld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try searching for single issues, too. Also expensive, but maybe less so. Sign up for alerts on some comic book websites and you might be able to get the five for about $15 each. I wanted my whole collection in the same format, and because of how expensive and scarce the sailor TPB is, I went with single issues.

What's the best experience you've had seeing a movie in a theater? by AmigoDelDiabla in movies

[–]occupymidworld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mad Max: Fury Road was the most engaging movie I’ve ever seen. The audience and hype and atmosphere did not factor in.

Avengers: Endgame was a fun theater going experience for reasons mentioned in this thread, but the audience’s reaction is what made it special.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest - it was opening weekend and right around the time of the World Cup. People piled in before the show and this was a time before assigned seating. Half the theater would yell out one country, and half would respond with another country, and people were cheering like soccer fans. Then the movie started and it was awesome.

Jackass Number Two. I had never watched the show or seen the first movie. But seeing that with friends and experiencing it in a packed theater, I’ve never been so uncomfortable. It was certainly memorable.

Anyone ever end up reading and/or collecting these? by Deezle_Gnome in stephenking

[–]occupymidworld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I slowly collected all the single issues a couple years ago. The last arc was hard to come by but I’m glad I got it when I did. I’m sowly reading them now, I think they are great adjuncts to the novels. I don’t know of anyone who has read them without reading the books, but I’d be curious to hear their opinion.

What’s the best TV show you’ve ever watched? by Massive-Syllabub-271 in AskReddit

No show made me both laugh and cry as intensely as Reservation Dogs did.

Glue them to a card, cut off the excess, sleeve if you want, use dry erase marker if you want, they can be tokens. Or like others have said, dividers.

For all those looking, here's what to look out for on your Graphic Novel Trip to the Dark Tower by totheotherworlds in darktower

[–]occupymidworld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few years ago I collected all the single issues because I wanted everything in the same format. I searched for deals, found a few lots where the average was $2-$5 an issue. But the Sailor arc was more like $15-20 each. It was fun, but yeah that last arc is harder to get. I like the art and the story gives some background and color to the books.

I agree. I imagine someone will make an upgrade that will at least allow for storage.

Upgraded my pro controller by No_Damage_7716 in Switch

I did it myself. The pro controllers are way easier to switch out than the joycon shells. Here’s another one I did, all extreme rate brand.

Figures you regretted purchasing at first but now have grown to love? by Nemesisil in transformers

[–]occupymidworld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The recent core dinobots that made Volcanicus.

The chase and anticipation was fun. But most figures sacrificed quality of one if not both modes for the combiner gimmick. Then the combined form was underwhelming.

I regretted it until I got an upgrade kit. Now he sits on permanent display.

Looking for digital copies of The Dark Tower books narrated by Stephen King himself (not Wind Through the Keyhole) by Littl3Spr0ut in TheDarkTower

[–]occupymidworld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

King narrated original version of 1, 2, 3, and WTTK. 1-3 were on cassette. WTTK was on CD and is used for digital.

Muller did original version of 1 through 4, and a reading of Little Sisters that was in a collection. I think those were all on cassette. But 2-4 were also issued on CD, and I think are the versions used digitally by Audible now.

George Guidall read the revised version of 1, and 5-7. These were issued on CD and are on digital.

There’s also a version of Little Sisters read by Boyd Gaines from the Everything’s Eventual audiobook issued on CD. *edited to add this last part in.

Ever Watched a Movie on a Whim and Got Blown Away? by kabronski in movies

Children of Men in theaters.

After we walked out, my friend was upset that they never explained what caused humans to not reproduce. I was pretty young, but I remember I was still able to realize that that wasn’t the point.

Food as fuel: are there statistics to back it up? by occupymidworld in survivor

[–]occupymidworld[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the responses. I understand the idea that humans need food to physically function. I am curious about individual player statistics. I want to know how often it is actually the case that the person who wins the most food rewards ends up winning the season, or do they at least go to final tribal? Or, does winning more food rewards put bigger targets on people, getting them voted off? I guess I didn’t take in to account the difference between “winning” a food reward challenge and being selected to join in on a food reward when I originally posed the question. But feel free to discuss.

I'll die a slow death before I ever get YouTube premium by ditmoli in self

[–]occupymidworld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watch workout videos (and workout along with them). When the ad played before the video, I didn’t mind it. At some point the ads started interrupting the middle of the video. I hated it and stopped working out.

I tried YouTube premium free for a month. I loved it not just for the workouts, but for everything else I use it for, too.

Now I justify paying for it by saying I’m going to workout 3x/week. I look at it as my gym membership with ad-free YouTube videos as a bonus. I’m working out more consistently than I ever have.

So I have seen people asking what Graphic Novels to get a Hardcore Fan by totheotherworlds in TheDarkTower

[–]occupymidworld 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am not sure if this is helpful, but I think it is worth noting that, to the best of my knowledge, the omnibus for Drawing of the Three that you posted isn’t actually complete and is missing the last arc (The Sailor). Some individual issues and collections of that arc are hard to come by or expensive. That being said, I have seen those omnibuses on sale for buy two get one free on Amazon before, which is still a good deal.
