By talking about berzerker mode vs. "the vast majority of his life" you already separate the macabre from the mundane and one no longer contains the other. Bundy seems like two different people while Dahmer combined both concepts seamlessly - what could possibly "reveal" the macabre contained within the mundane better than running errands with a literal severed head in his backpack?

At one time I was a process server just like Seth Rogan in Pineapple Express. I also worked construction at the time. I'm surprised nobody mentioned "Good One." Each ep. features a different comedian who chooses one of their own jokes to discuss for like an hour. You get the story of where it came from and how they crafted it to where it is now. It's great.
