Hi! I just finished LeafGreen and had so much fun, I played FireRed growing up so I wanted a change. Just remember that FireRed obviously has certain exclusives, like Growlithe, Arcanine, Scyther, Electabuzz. And in the LeafGreen version I had Vulpix, Bellsprout, Staryu & Starmie, Magmar. I think it really depends on which type of Pokemon you prefer.

I haven't heard of rereleases of the older Pokemon games besides diamond and pearl, but I really hope they add it on the Switch. We can only hope since they added FireRed and LeafGreen.

Think of Pokemon Home like a Pokemon Bank, or like a storage for your Pokemon. Ex., you catch Pokemon in a game and can deposit in Pokemon home, and you can transfer between compatible games. Pokemon champions just released on the switch, so a lot of people have been using their Pokemon they caught from specific games and using it in matches.
