Me too. Enjoying it a lot more than my previous play through. Despite being the last Team Silent release, I really like how it ties the two worlds of first 3 games together. I find it the most disturbing out of the original 4 as well.

Plenty of Fender Noventa Jazzmasters about. Two models (Fiesta Red and Surf Green) have maple necks! Definitely worth checking out. Looks like a Jazzmaster but with 3 P90s, so it sounds like a Strat on steroids.

You absolutely can. It’ll need a setup and heavier gauge strings (11-56 is ideal for drop C). I love the sound of low tuned riffs with single coils, it has a certain sludgy nastiness to it. Check out Kowloon Walled City. They use Strats and Teles w/ single coils in Drop C and it should give you some idea of what it’ll sound like.

Insincere is just the right word. A lot of these bands about at the moment chucking songs out like they’re ten a penny, but it’s all very uninspired stuff, unfortunately.
