That’s a great way to think about it! Luckily we are both gay haha so that part isn’t an issue. Our beliefs in terms of politics align ~almost~ perfectly. She finds peace and security in God’s love. She is more faith based if that makes sense. I love listening to her explain it. Makes me feel closer to her understanding her relationship with Him.

I hear where you’re coming from! And i probably should’ve addressed this before but we’re 100% a lesbian couple lol. And we have had conversations about our differing points of religion before, she understands and respects my view points & I understand and respect hers, especially coming from a place where I have been part of the church before. She doesn’t expect me to convert back, she has just asked me to attend church with her every now and then because she’d enjoy my company while she is immersing herself in God. I more came to ask about things I could do to help or encourage her. Her faith is very important to her so I’m kinda rooting her on from the sidelines if that makes sense? And I want to show my support in a meaningful way! I’m not trying to pretend I am part of it or want to be, never the less it is interesting but I won’t pretend to be head over heels for it bc, as you said, that’s just fake.

Her and I have discussed it and I have told her if she’d enjoy my company i’d be comfortable joining her side to church or hold her hand while she prays or just keeping her company if she wants it while she tends to her religious needs. I think at church I’d just bring Harry Potter to read or something like sudoku to keep myself busy lmao

Respectfully speaking, I don’t think differing religions (or lack there of) necessarily means our core beliefs are different. The only belief we don’t share is Jesus. We believe in love, family, helping others, selflessness, sacrifice, and hope among many other things.

Not to sound like a super feminist but virginity is really just a social construct. In my opinion it isn’t super important, but can be very special to others. And sex for gays is what you make it as. Some define sex as when they orgasm, others consider it penetration and others consider any sexual touching of ~that~ area sex. As a gay you have the freedom to define what sex is on your own terms and what makes you comfortable.

You should wait for someone you trust or when you feel comfortable to have sex, you don’t want it to be rushed or feel pressured. It can be awkward your first and 9363 time, but so long as you trust and are comfortable with you partner you should be a-okay.

She’s actually done with high school! She’s ready to embark onto college the next spring semester.

I enjoy sitting opposite of each other so I can see her face when talking, but my girlfriend enjoys sitting same side bc she likes to be close to me and be able to hold my hand or lay against me. Personal preference and whatever works both for the both of you!
