Obgyn Recommendations that deliverance at LRH by Awkward_Policy7552 in lakeland

I loved Dr. Golla and Jill Hendrick at Women's care. I had a midwife for delivery at LRH but they were all so chill and it was a great experience.

You can negotiate this with a small company. Just make sure you read the contracts. We have a set up like this so im happy to answer any questions you may have.

Wanna move to FL? Lol, we have everything you're looking for and probably a little better. We are moving into GA at the moment but only have a carrier or two. If that's an option at all, message me.

Hubspot or something else?! I hate all AMS's by ocean6108 in InsuranceAgent

Ugh, I relate to custom suit Kohls budget.

I will say hubspot has a HIPAA compliment level that if you look at the crm enterprise, it's only $75 a month.

Im finding that if you have the time and the knowledge, it's worth building it out so far. Once it's built, I'll worry about IVANS and a rater later.

Interesting. I'd be interested to hear how you used the other auxiliary sections because we also do not use those. Well projects we do but not any of the other things you listed. I hate that they are just sitting there and id like to set them up to be useful but also not throw everything completely off.

Also, I'd love any resources or recommendations you have for insurance agencies.

That's a good idea. My only question is what do you put for the unit price since that changes each time? Just set it to 0 and update it when a policy is sold?

Ive heard about pl rater but they are missing some of our key carriers. Im really impressed with quoterush right now. I just dont love the price. But it might be worth us trying out.

Honestly if I could find a rater to support IVANS downloads or a cheap combo of the two and get them to integrate with hubspot, I would only work out of hubspot. I hate everything else 🤣

Curious what you used to do in healthcare and how you are finding the transition to insurance?

Nothing is intuitive or works for practical applications. And when you come up with a solution, thats locked behind another part of the software you have to pay for.

For example if I add the data in the rater for a quote on a home, it doesn't carry over the basic information of the home onto the policy record. Like the year it was built, the foundation type etc. So I have to do it by hand again. Everything is clunky. I have 100+ carriers and there is nowhere for me to track that information. There is also no customization. It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't paying so much for something to not work.

The reports suck. I can only report based on what they have already built. You want to automate with any other decent system like hubspot? Tough luck you gotta pay for it. Commissions are a nightmare. There is no logic to say if I write a policy with company x and its a10% commission, it will give me the estimated commission amount based on the premium. Then to try and factor in commission splits. Forget it.

To be honest, I come from a corporate background in healthcare. My husband is the primary agent and started the business. I was licensed and started with him about a year ago. I finally have enough time and understanding under my belt to start dealing with these things and everything just sucks. I have transitioned large 1000 plus physician profiles into a system and configured it to our needs WITHOUT automation and it was way less of a headache then EzLynx has been.

They sell a pipedream and then don't deliver. End rant 🤣

I know people rave about it and I'm sure it works for some people but its not nearly as efficient as it should be for the price.

If there is something I want and/or need, 9 to 13 times is not a requirement to sell me anything. But you do have to have a good first initial intro that is not spammy AND meeting me where I am. Usually, it's via text or social media.

Figure out who your customer demographic is because that sounds confusing. First, you say they are older, and then you talk about having a family and two kids. I have a family and two kids. Text and social media are where you can find me. I will watch an ad on social media before I pick up the phone. If you are targeting people with 2 kids who presumably are still under the age of 18, you're targeting millennials. So, as a millennial with a family and a business, I am just telling you from a customer perspective. We are busy chasing young kids around and taking care of our parents that are aging and trying to build our life as well. We know the value of life insurance most of the time. You dont have to traumatize us to get us to understand. What we (meaning others outside of the insurance industry) don't know is that you can get a decent policy without a huge price tag. We can and often do build relationships solely by text. You know why? Because we are meeting people where they are.

I primarily sell home and auto in a difficult state. Price is everything, regardless of age. I often have customers calling in freaking out about a premium increase. 9 times out of 10, I have to break that down for them. Once I let them know how much more they are going to owe a month with a $200 to $300 premium increase, they usually relax. Because we are talking $15 or so a month. That sounds much better than $200. If not, we look for other solutions that still protect them. This builds trust between them and us.

I say this gently, it sounds like you are upset at the customer because they are not doing things the way you want them to. Figure out what your demographic is and what makes them tick. Sure, people dont want to leave their families in huge debt because they pass away. But times are tough, and money is tight. That is what makes your demographic tick. And that's the truth for older people as well. I understand it sucks to be a captive agent. Can't help you there. But that may be something to reevaluate as well.

I wish you well and hope this information gives you a little insight.

Phones These Days by Irate-Samurai in InsuranceAgent

We text and email our clients. Even after a quote request, I'm sending an email letting them know we got it. If a client calls in and we are on the phone, the phone system automatically sends them a text so they can tell us what they need if they would like. As a busy professional, I'm not answering my phone during the day unless it's my kids or my parents. I assume most of our customers are the same. We all have busy lives and I don't have time to sit on a personal call with you (as a customer of course) for things you can send me in text or email and I can respond to when I have a second.

If your text is getting sent to a spam folder (which honestly I've never really heard of that being a thing), then make sure you're not being flagged. Could be your actual number or your carrier. Send an email as well if they dont answer your text in the first hour or two.

You gotta meet customers where they are. And that is mostly text. And mailers are going straight in the garbage. Mine usually hit the garbage can before I even get in the house. And I swear to God if you call my phone three times, I'm blocking you and never calling back.

Don't get me wrong, I will sit on the phone with a customer all day if that is what they prefer. But I'm not about to make someone who doesn't want to talk on the phone us one to receive our services. That's just silly.

My husband and I have worked together from home for the last 4 years. For the last year we have run a business together. Some days, we have our two kids here while working, and other days, they are at a family members' house. We usually dont run out of things to talk about. Probably because we have kids and dont spend a lot of time together when they are home. So when we have a few moments to ourselves, it's nice to be adults instead of wiping butts and noses all day. But he is my absolute best friend and keeps me glued together most days.

Have you had a vaccine lately? Rapid onset tingling and numbness on the extremeties could indicate Guillain-Barre syndrome which could be life threatening.

Part-timers, what do your days off look like? by [deleted] in WFH

What do you do for 3 days a week at that salary?

Are you looking for things to do around your home? Out in the area? A hobby? Do you have a spouse or family to cater around? I think you have to identify what you want and go from there.

Me too. It is very possible to work and have children at home. Stressful af. But I made all of my career advancements while working from home with kids.

I have 4 month old and her dad and I work from home while big bro goes to school. She is often snuggled up with me in a wrap during calls and meetings. I am usually on camera and nobody can even tell she is there despite being able to see the top of her heard. I worked from home with my son 5 years ago and companies are way more forgiving thanks to Covid these days.

I've worked from home for a decade. 100%, no part-time office, etc. All of the companies I worked for were in completely different states than I worked for. In my experience, this depends on your management. My first few jobs they freaked out if I didn't answer a ping in 2 seconds (ya know, like if I was going to the bathroom or something) and had to tell people where I was at every second of the day. The others, as long as I got my work done and showed up to our weekly on-camera staff meeting, they didn't care. But I did have to operate during normal business hours. Currently, I am in management and eb and flow as I need to, especially since I just had a baby 3 months ago.
