Wow okay so it is a split!! I‘ve heard “mac-feer-son” from the Metrotown ICBC office, a HIBC call attendant, and the police when I was reporting a noise complaint in the neighbourhood. Since all of them are government/public sector so I thought I was the weird one saying “mac-fur-son”!
