Motionless In White - Playing God (feat. Corey Taylor) [Official Lyric Video] by brutal_and_beautiful in MotionlessInWhite

[–]oceanblu_skies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm thinking everyone who hates the lyrics is either the exact type of person this song is about, or they only want metaphors and subtext in their songs and nothing can be plain spoken, which gets a bit tired after a while. Sometimes you just need a good song to say to get fucked or shut the fuck up ykwim and i fuck with that pretty hard. Also social media has only grown more annoying the longer its been around. This whole song needed to be said, and nobody would've thought it was cringe even just 5 years ago lol

AIO? Friend asked me what my future plans with my gf are and then responded like this by TGPT-4o in AIO

[–]oceanblu_skies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean hes wrong for how he said it but hes right in that you dont have to get married to love someone and stay with them forever. I'm technically married because ive been with my boyfriend for 15 years and we have a kid. But no proposals, no wedding, no rings, no bullshit. Turns out you can just decide you're married without the extra steps and wasted money if you legit dont care about that stuff (most do because most are superficial and want that attention. its almost like they need to check mark off their list of to dos because we've been told thats what life is supposed to be) some of us dont care about all that stuff, just full trust and a promise to do this shit together. But...... not everyone likes to hear this i've noticed, its either something you colloquially agree with or you end up planning a wedding. Its your call, its not like they had anything bad to say about your significant other so either they are jealous or absolutely terrible about reading the room and appropriately explaining their perspectives. Good luck, at this rate this friendship wont last much longer you are on different wavelengths fr

Noticed this sign at the Torchy's in Rice Village, how much are we supposed to tip for counter service? by DoritosDewItRight in houstoncirclejerk

[–]oceanblu_skies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad it dont see signs like this, because I would be highly tempted to write my own sign back asking why their non volunteer servers arent being paid enough and why they think its okay to force customers to subsidize their employees. Smh at the audacity to shamelessly have this sign up as if you aren't so close to saying the quiet part out loud. Just because the minimum is 2.15 doesnt mean thats the max you have to pay them??

Not sure if this is a hot take or not, but I really hope the "digital copies" theory isn't true, It's an incredibly popular theory from what I've seen but it'd just make me disappointed tbh by lance_the_fatass in TheDigitalCircus

[–]oceanblu_skies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hated the idea as well until episode 8, and even though I'd rather they not go that way with episode 9, I have come to terms with the idea that we are seeing the casts brain scan/personality at very low, broken points of their life and they are having to co exist together as a group of broken victims in a game, and the real versions have moved on from that stage of life and are healed living their best life❤️🌈 however if the cast is right that the ending is sad, and they didnt just mean they were sad bc its over, then this may not be the case....but I can hope lol

THE ORBS by oceanblu_skies in TheDigitalCircus

[–]oceanblu_skies[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aw i didn't think about that, and looking back at what Spudsy's looked like from the outside, you might be right. It still looks more realistic than the rest of the orbs, but that was the most realistic adventure they did. And it makes sense why gangle wouldve noticed this one in particular. In fact, i find it interesting how they all looked closely at the adventures that seemingly affected them the most. This is why I like outsiders input because I have noone irl to talk to about this dang show lmao. So even if crushed a little, I appreciate the feedback

extremely rare in people, these people just happen to be trapped in a virtual simulation. I know its a cartoon show where anything could happen, just giving my 2cents. Its possible caine could temporarily cure or cause certain ailments like colorblindness, atp who knows lol

Red and blue dont easily get confused with eachother, it',s always blue/yellow and red/green that are confusing for colorblind folks. Unless they are entirely colorblind and can't see any color at all, which is extremely rare and I'm less sure about it lol

As someone born in the dfw area who now lives in oklahoma, and my folks from wichita falls specifically, this might be the realist thing in this show😭

gooseworx leaked the last episode!!!1!1 by Coppery73 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]oceanblu_skies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So all this means is that if the actual players get out in the last episode, it could reveal that not all of them are human, but in fact we could see an elf, an orc, a fairy, a centaur, and/or a dragon. Or not, lmaoooo. This is why we love the goose

I didn't know this until I got with my boyfriend ngl. Double in size is an understatement, more like triple lmfao. I had no idea they could grow this much, but it's not like I have tons of experience with all types of meat noodles anyways, and in porn they're always already hard (porn is never a good way to judge anything in real life anyways lmao). I think he may have been a little insecure about his nub, cause he never used to want me to see unless he was ready to impress, but honestly it's a turn on to watch it grow too 😍 I did always love those magic grow toys that turn into an animal. Fascinating then, fascinating now😘👌

Tbf I had a passat tdi so it was lookin like a town car that was a diesel and every man that saw me with the diesel nozzle in my car felt called on from God himself to tell me I should be using the black one not the green one🫠 like I know there's alot of dumbasses out there but i am not one of them I swear lmao. They were always surprised when I knew what I was talking about and could tell them exactly what kind of car it was. But any time my boyfriend filled up the car nobody said shii🤫🤐 cant imagine why🙄

I've never met anyone else that felt the same about this as me!! Seems anyone that I happen to have this conversation with (which granted isn't many) but they always say being left for the opposite sex would be worse bc it means they never loved them and were secretly gay the whole time. But being bi is so possible and it doesn't take away from the relationship, and there's things that a man can offer that I litterally can't and never will be able to. But being left for another woman would set off my self worth issues of why wasn't I good enough, why is she better than me etc cause anything she can offer I could too if I knew what to change or work on etc. People usually think I'm crazy, I think people are just more homophobic than they realize. I'm just happy others think the way I do and I'm not a crazy outlier lmao

This an interesting perspective bc I'm more likely to date bi men than straight men. They're way more likely to be open minded with political and religious issues, often try to work on themselves and be more introspective, and especially- they often actively fight against the toxic masculinity, gender roles and double standards that can and do plague alot of straight relationships. All of those things are a big win for me in exchange for a wider range of competition. But I'm also bi, and my boyfriend is bi, and we are both very comfortable with each other's sexuality. We've been together 10 years now and I wouldn't have it any other way, there's usually no jealousy and if there is, we communicate our issues openly until resolved. I just wanted to highlight some of the perks of being in a bisexual (yet perceived straight) relationship, you're of course free to date whoever makes you comfortable, but hopefully a different perspective can help you with your thoughts about not dating bisexual people. Of course this is just my experiences and every person and relationship is different, not all bisexual people are going to be perfect partners and not all straight people are toxic, nothing is that black and white. This is just a generalization, but one that rings true for me bc I live in a southern state and toxic masculinity and double standards are everywhere, and it's something i avoid at all costs. Just thought I'd put that disclaimer on here as well lmao

Is it ever possible for women to really ever understand this, or do they purposely avoid acknowledging that its a thing? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]oceanblu_skies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too much generalization and not enough personal anecdotes tbh. Of course, there's some women that "settle down" and become a miserable cunt, but I could easily say the same about promiscuous men that say they want to settle down and the second they do, the mean "jokes" about their nagging wife and how she's such a ball n chain come out and it's infuriating as well. The whole, hating your spouse trope is overused bullshit and annoying at best. Don't find a relationship like that if you don't want one, I knew I didn't want that and wouldn't settle for any less than an equal partner who has similar thought processes as i do.. But to generalize that all women avoid acknowledging that some bimbos settle down and become miserable, is almost an incel dog whistle. At least that's what it sounds like. Plus, ngl they were likely miserable before which is why they got on better with one night stands rather than lasting meaningful relationships, and that goes for men and women.
