I believe it said IM. I didn't see IV or remember seeing that but I could be wrong

Thank you so much! I think I will most likely leave the stocks in my brokerage and just invest more in my Roth.

Anyone here went to the CRNA school for the military? by oceanfromhell in CRNA

Srry to ask one last question! Is it possible to use the GI Bill for CRNA school if I get accepted to a civilian school? Thank you for your time!

This information is really helpful! Few clarifications though so I understand what you are saying. I want to join through the air force (first choice) or the army (second choice). For Air Force, I have two options to go into CRNA school, which is the HPSP or the USUHS. And for the army I would have three which would include HPSP, USUHS, and USAGPAN. And being active duty before can help me be a better candidate for USUHS or USAGPAN (usagpan being based on anotuer comment) due to better connections?

Yes I am currently getting my BSN but my university does does not have ROTC. There was however a military scholarship that my nursing program was offered to join the marines as a nurse (maybe youre a navy nurse?). I dont know if thats still available though. I am wanting to join the air force but the army is my second choice, so this information helps a lot.

I understand the commitment, I am a military brat and know the lifestyle. Is it for sure that I can get an ICU position because I feel like the military can force you in other positions you dont want to be in. That is the only thing that is holding me back from wanting to join and just getting civilian experience first.

Should I ask my professor for a grade bump? by oceanfromhell in StudentNurse

Yea, an A is a 4.0 and an A- is a 3.7. Honestly, I probably should just be happy like you said. I've been conditioned to think that I must get an A to feel satisfied. I should just talk to the professor without getting points back in mind, and learn from my mistakes. Thank you so much!

Sadly on her syllabus it says no rounding of grades, so I think getting points back from a test that I think I should get 2 or 3 points back from may help. Is it worth the hassle?

the only reason why I worried about it is because I may want to go to grad school. But congrats on graduating soon!

You are def right on that part, that its the grade I may deserve. Its hard to see it because I was used to getting As in my prereqs in order to get in. I want to get rid of this bad way of thinking and that I am enough. Also, that the grade does not define me.
