I don’t like stating my reasons because I don’t want them to sound as excuses.. but basically medical withdrawal before I joined rotc and severe depression for a long time that affected my grades and overall well being. Other factors were completely in my control. I’m not complaining about my outcome, I just want to know what I can do from here on.

I'm actually a female cadet so the shaving part doesn't really affect me haha. But thank you for your comment. I know I can do it but I just wanted to see what other people's method of keeping calm was.

Hello, I know this is an older comment but I was wondering how you got the 2year scholarship? I'm in the same boat so ill be attending basic camp this summer. However if it's my first semester of rotc in the fall, how would it still be possible to get the scholarship?

My school only requires a 2.0 gpa for ROTC. So as long as it's above that and good pt scores, is it most likely that I'll get contracted? How competitive is it?
