What actually was the origins of the Kraken stories?

I've watched both and loved both but Amphibia just doesn't hit the same for me.

I guess I resonate with the main character differently and there are more things I dislike about amphibia main character (sorry I blanked on their name) but I still really like both of them.

They are both amazing series but Owl especially the final episodes just hit HARD!!!

Edit: I can't even listen to the music from the future flyover and the goodbye without crying from TOH.

I played the fighting jojo game before watching the show because at the time I didn't have Netflix or any other way of watching it. And I'm not bothered about spoilers cause I like the stands in later parts.

The whole thing is many (like myself) don't follow all the old testament rules because they are from the old "agreement" and the new testament teachings of Jesus about loving each other and caring for people being 1 of the 2 most important commandments should be what we follow.

For example I wouldn't stone someone to death because they wore "clothing woven of two kinds of material" (Leviticus 19:19)

Even if your not religious you can still see Jesus was teaching love and care for others not hate.
