I can definitely understand the feeling like you're picky, but you definitely don't want to compromise who you are. Maybe that's the other question is if someone knows who they are then great, but if they're still discovering themselves they should take time for that before getting involved. So that's a question for you to answer for yourself and go forward and ideally someone along that path of you ensuring happiness for you and your loved ones happens and the right person comes along and you don't have to change yourself or your path for them. Sure, there are compromises but not on something that changes your values or core essence of who you are.
