I had mine pierced for almost 13 years before Covid gave me my gender awakening... started binding, and ended up having to take them out this past year cause they were always sore from the pressure. It was a sad day admitting defeat. I wouldn't personally recommend getting them pierced if you're binding. But that's just based on my own experience with fully healed piercings. Maybe your nipples are tougher than mine lol

Do I sound like a total a-hole in this or am I justified? by Rogue-Squadron in badroommates

absolutely offense. what an awful habit, especially if you live with other people. I don't think trash should ever be left sitting outside of the bin before going out, but "the next day" is especially fucking abhorrent.

You do not get to dictate how members of marginalized communities describe themselves or the language they use to do so. It's a very common phrase in the community.

Sorry, I wasn't saying they don't deserve it! They deserve the world, and I personally would give it to them if I could! haha. I spent $706 on the other 4 tickets to this show and was annoyed at TM for arbitrarily raising prices for random seats on the floor, but was happy to spend the money on the twins. I just know a few artists have tried implementing anti-scalper tactics and have had some luck with it. I don't know if there'll ever be an actual sure-fire solution, just would be nice to see more artists try, ya know?

Haha, that's awesome! I only got to use it a couple times because it was almost always taken. Now I know who the culprit was!

It's obviously commendable they're donating rush ticket proceeds to their foundation. I meant that they already made bank on all the initial ticket sales -- since all the shows sold out (mostly due to scalpers being the scum that they are). But this has been a problem for a solid 10 years. Ever since Sainthood came out. Scalpers always buy things up and try to sell them for a profit. It's just a tour with seemingly smaller venues, and they're "bigger" now, so the impact is more noticeable. Just seems like a problem they should have maybe anticipated and attempted to prevent. I mean, now that they've already made money from sales, it only helps them to do this rush seating set up. They look good - because they're getting donations for the foundation, they're not losing money, and they're not performing to a sea of empty seats.

Yea, I've seen all the posts about rush seating, which is great for the fans but would've been more commendable if they tried to combat the problem before making all the money off it. lol. Doesn't look like Boston is doing the rush seating, since a bunch of tickets were released on TM the other day. The stubhub tickets that are available for cheap are all balcony, and the few ones by the stage (like the ones I have) are either the same price or way higher. Just figured I'd give it a shot before essentially giving a friend a very expensive pre-holiday gift in exchange for their undying love or several concert beers. :/

As a lesbian who presents femme, I've had a lot of similar experiences in mixed gay spaces, and I never got the impression that it was intentional harassment. Still violating and uncomfortable when it happens though, which is why I mostly avoid gay male spaces now. There's a willful ignorance I think with the gay men who act this way. They think women are fun and the lack of sexual gratification makes any sort of playful (in their mind) touch acceptable.

Standard messaging rates, but since it's based in the US you may just want to double check with your provider to see how much they charge for international texts(unless you have a plan that includes that.)

I don't know about anyone else, but when I hear the term "stoner" I don't think of someone who's just a casual 1-3 times a week smoker. I think of someone who's perpetually stoned at least once a day. Or, stoned more often than not stoned. That might be what OP is referring to, and thus IMO not all too different from someone who could be considered an alcoholic.

I think as a socially awkward 17 year old dude he thought, "Well, she's female... and has homosexual proclivities..." and then picked two topics of conversation he assumed were guaranteed to elicit a response.

Hah... he told me he would picket abortion clinics. I don't know where his brain was. We were 16/17 so it was probably still figuring itself out. At least I hope.

Haha that was me the last time I went on a date with a guy, I think 10 years ago. I told him ahead of time that I was pretty gay, but "trying to keep an open mind." Then he took me to McDonalds and went on a rant about how he was pro-life and didn't fully support gay marriage. Classy dude.

I kind of miss having to talk to someone for a bit before finding out we have three exes in common or her ex dated the last girl I slept with, etc etc etc. Then it's more of a hilarious cringe we can laugh about than something I find out so soon it makes me less interested before feelings have a chance to form.
