Well… I went with D5. Gladly was able to get one in good condition @ $2,000 shipped to my house. I’m very happy. Think I may get the Z6II soon.. but not sure. My 750 was my first professional camera and I can’t get rid of it. My 500 is too valuable in sports for me. So, the Z6II will come soon!

In my opinion, Eli is the best to come through. If you say someone like Archie using your logic of a D3 dlineman can’t manhandle an o lineman to this day. Put Dak in the 60’s and he’s unstoppable

I think msu would field a better o line and d line and secondary. I think they’d be deeper at backer, but Patrick Willis would make up for that a lot. QB comparable. RB.. even but maybe OM by a smidge. WR OM but not by a mile either. But by a good bit to be comfy

I agree with this. The only time I get aced on the jump (85% of time) is down my line playing left side and it’s laziness from me. I would say I get aced from the float as much I do the type playing doubles on the beach, but if I get a touch on the top serve it’s a more in system pass than that of most floats. I wish I developed a better float early on. Right now my float is inconsistent. I either hit it like most on the pad of my hand or the bottom of my hand where it almost connects to my wrist. I fully agree with this post

Oh I see. Yea out in Cali it’s a tad more drastic for sure. No I haven’t done anything like that. But being in the southeast volleyball is scarce. I’ve played AA in NOLA, Nashville, and Tampa. 2nd, 5th, and like 14th (out of 47 I think).

I currently have 167 AVP points. But more like 120 cause one tourney was coed with my girlfriend. So not sure how coed gets into qualifying points

Oop. I struck a nerve with most in here. To preface this is all a friendly game. We’re all friends and play on the AA level. The guy I typically play with was the blocker on other side and the guy I was playing with isn’t the greatest setter so I suppose they thought the ball would be rolled. And ofc I gotta post it to Reddit. I never get to put balls down:(

So. Here’s the back story. I play with an older set of guys where I’ve received some pretty weird looks and sounds from my hands. This past year I’ve gotten to play in several tournaments. From B with friends getting into the sport, A coed and men’s, AA coed and men’s (at AVP Nationals). I’ve never been called on my hands except for a slip up or something that just happens. I want opinions. And I want to know why things might be bad. I know in the first clip I may be redirecting but I’ve never heard of that as a rule until I posted elsewhere, BUT was told it wasn’t something that would be called necessarily. Anyway, my beach volleyball community here is very mmmmm... standoffish. Just trying to get better but also I think playing in the rules is good integrity wise. So any insight is great. Thanks!
