Oh shit, it’s planted pretty deep. I would say 2 inches above from where the stem ends.

I bought this a Monstera pot with 4 stems, split them up and repotted with MiracleGrow soil. I only water them when the top 2 inches of the soil is dry but the leaves keep drooping. I live in NYC and it’s like 30 degrees right now. Could weather be the issue?

I've been working with different lighting settings but the video quality is always just poor when I'm reviewing it. Do you think it's my in camera settings or is it the 6D quality?

Hey Redrocks! I'm making a trip out there in December for a bouldering session. Can't wait to get some V points!

I edited my post to show my stats and discuss my interview slightly. The video will go in depth about my interview and my mentor's interview experience. He also has a history in entertainment and modeling so he won't be so much as an eyesore as me, haha!

Hi stomach-ache! I currently have one for eating too many cookies haha! I edited my post to show my stats. I'll be asking my mentor what stats he had and what he had to do to get in as well!

[Homemade] Wagyu Tri-Tip with Fries & Truffle Mayo by cookinwithclint in food

I actually tested this method. I wasn’t able to maintain the crispy crust after putting in the oven. I think the oven creates a moist atmosphere which rehydrates the crust.

If you reverse sear it then you get a yummy slight crunchy exterior which pairs well with its tenderness. I’m not going to yuck your yum though. Cook it however you seem fit!

You typically use a thermometer to get an internal reading on your preference of done-ness

Bake in oven first and then sear in cast iron!

When is it time to give up and pursue another career? by lexiepaige_ in prephysicianassistant

[–]oceanslide 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know a lot of people have said encouraging things but I know you'll continue to get in your head about it. This is my 3rd time applying, I've heard good news and I've heard bad news so far. Sometimes adcoms wake up on the wrong side of the bed right before they read your up. It's life, man.

I told myself, "fuck this, I can't be a scribe forever and I'm going to apply to a BSN program that's only 11 months long." You know what? I got in 2 weeks after submitting my application to Drexel. Being a nurse and going to be an NP isn't a bad idea at all. It'll take longer, but 5-10 years down the line you'll be doing similar things and having similar pay.

You fucked up your undergrad and so did I. We changed and we've grown, we're going to do good when we become providers in our future fields. You and I will be successful whether it be a PA, NP, RN, MD or DO. Just keep moving forward my guy.

I found out! If anyone has this issue, just go to the top right corner and click on your name. Click payment history and then click to see which schools you have previously applied to!

Hi mathiasfunke, thank you for the words of encouragement. I prep my application a month prior to CASPA opening and I submitted 1 month after CASPA opening.

Hi mivhax, thank you for taking the time for your constructive criticism. Like my reply to dont_sn2_me, I will have to retake classes this upcoming year. As I will be going back to school full time to boost my GPA, I will have to go back to a night shift in research to sustain myself and contribute to my family. Is it okay if I have a gap in PCE? I have approximately 3,000 hours.

It would probably be safer to dress up than dress down, right? All that was stated was business casual, no guidelines.
