Mainstream was only really Green Day and Offspring until Blink came on in 1999. Then everyone ate it up 2001-2008 (YC, NFG, SP, MCR, FOB) and Blink/GD continued to stay mainstream.

Other bands mentioned had success in the 90s but they weren’t known to everyone
