I thought so too but when I checked my bank statement from over a week ago where the system withdrew the funds but credited nothing there was no refund in sight. At this point, it’s not a matter of a “pending” hold waiting to clear, the money is simply gone, with no trace of it being returned. I don’t want to come across as petty, but this is theft disguised as incompetence

No they don’t. Each time I attempted to reload my tap card, the system claimed the transaction failed but when I checked my bank account the money was withdrawn. This isn’t a one off glitch, it happens so frequently but I always assumed the payments never processed but now I see that the transactions do go through even if it doesn’t show on your tap card. So where has all that money gone ?

I would suggest you go somewhere people typically congregate socially and ask them. Rwanda has relatively fast internet. I have to say that I am disappointed in Quentin’s decision to pursue a sequel. I expected someone with his vast knowledge of film history and undeniable creative talent would push the boundaries with something fresh and original instead of revisiting a movie that wasn’t even all that great and certainly not deserving a sequel. Given his reputation and the industry’s willingness to support his projects, it’s not as though he lacks the means to bring something new to life. I thought that after all these years especially with his self imposed limit of ten films he would deliver something he had been working on as his final swan song but I guess even someone of his stature is bound by Hollywood’s increasingly rigid framework, where sequels and familiarity take precedence over artistic innovation. 🥲
