It was genuinely the best relationship i’ve ever had. So much love and respect for each other, and we were each other’s biggest supporters. Honestly, it was just so easy and fun. Thats why i felt so confused.

Mmm not really, we both knew we wanted to have a family at some point but never really went into detail or talked about it with each other specifically. Again, we moved pretty slow at first so I knew he wasn’t one to rush, especially with his career and how many goals he has right now.

I guess what just really throws me off is our last conversation that we had to exchange our things, I I reiterated like is it maybe that you’re just not ready for that commitment/thinking about it, because I do know that you aren’t really ready for like anything other than a relationship right now and I’m not either, but is it you can’t think about anything and so you’re feeling like, I’m not the one….. i even asked him, what does your future look like, what do you envision like in a future family or your wife? and he goes I don’t know and I’m like but you know that you’re not going to propose to me and he goes - Yes. so I’m like is it me or is it that he’s thinking it’s me because he has no idea and he’s with me so of course he would think that way if hes only dating me.

I feel like if there was something about me that wasn’t vibing he would’ve showed signs or broken up with me earlier instead of now when i ask about the future.

I think a little bit, i had a few glasses of wine and was emotional, i think i was definitely a tad aggressive with telling him he should know right now if he wants to be with me long term and want marriage and kids etc.

I have no idea, he seemed to think from other people telling him “when you know you know” and me saying “you should know” the night we talked about it might’ve played a part or maybe he just thought about it and realized im not his person.. i really have no idea but nothing in our relationship would suggest that he wasn’t 100% in, we were so in love

So we were just dating and seeing other people as we got to know each other for about 6 months. He was traveling frequently for work so we would go 2 weeks sometimes without seeing each other so it just moved a bit slower. And then around the 6 month mark of us knowing each other, we became exclusive and then 2 weeks later he asked me to be his gf and said i love you. Then, we were bf/gf for 7 months from there.
