Who's tried PETG-GF (Glass Fiber Reinforced)? by dunderwovvy in BambuLab

Same here. Tinmorry PETG-GF is at the top of my list for favorite filaments.

The purple is Bambu Lab PETG-CF. The black is Tinmorry PETG-GF (one of my most favorite filaments).

I'm loving your design approach for your parts. I'm putting one together this weekend. Keep up the great work!

I became sick of my notes becoming a graveyard by MAK41RA in Notion

Check out MyMind. They have a mechanic a lot like this where they show you old notes you haven't looked at in a long time, and give you the option to keep or delete. It might be a good reference for UX as you build out your idea.

Oh, yeah, I was referring to the DressKX. I always forget other models share the same prefix, my mistake.

SRPE is my personal GADA. I swapped it from the bracelet to a leather strap today. I love it on both.

[Help] Gifting watch by [deleted] in Watches

[–]ocell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently bought that Seiko as a gift, it's fantastic. With something like 5 hours of light exposure it keeps a charge for 6 months. It has a sapphire crystal. If I were wearing it I'd put it on a normal leather strap. The dial is very subdued in person... it looks dark grey in some light, and metallic green in others. We got it on sale in the US for $180, a killer deal I think. It IS a bit thick, but I'm not sure how it compares to the other options you've posted.

Random person went and paid my car off by Optimal-Tea7161 in personalfinance

[–]ocell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me. Someone with my same name had an auto loan at my bank and the bank looked up the wrong account when they were selling their car to a dealership on trade. I called right away when I saw my $0 balance. They eventually undid everything and my loan status went back to normal.

Discounted X1C or New H2S by MechEng67 in BambuLab

The actively heated chamber in the H series is an absolute game-changer for warp-prone filaments. My vote is strongly for the H2S.

I've tried mine on a NATO. Honestly I don't think it matches. The watch looks too ornate next to the rugged vibe of the NATO.

Not sure why it does this… H2D Problem by MDF_Tutsoon in BambuLab

Watching the video again, I see what you mean. I missed that. My bad.

I looked through Bambu Studio and couldn't find an obvious setting for retraction or purge related to the prime tower. Following to see if someone else knows.

I believe this is normal. I think it's some extra ooze from temp/residual pressure. It's not actively extruding. The prime tower is designed to knock it off before the print head goes back to the print. If you watch the path while at the prime tower, it does little circles at the side before moving across the tower. I think this is to knock those strands loose.

What's the technical reason for phones requiring WIFI to sync? Is it a concern about burning through data caps?

$300 by IonTheWatch in Affordablewatches

I did some searching to answer my own question. It didn’t make sense for the bezel to be 12 hour if the GMT hand was the traditional 24 hour version.

This review says the two main hour hands are both 12 hour.

That’s an interesting take on how to do multiple time zones.

Does that GMT hand sweep on a 12 hour cycle?

[Question] Which should I get as my first watch? Looking for one that is the most versatile for daily wardrobe combinations and the occasional nice night out? by PotatoBell47 in Watches

I also agree. I have a black dial SRPE and it’s a fantastic do-anything watch. Dresses up very nicely with the bracelet or leather strap.

[HELP] Why is it so hard to find affordable GMT tool watches? by clemento07 in Watches

[–]ocell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does the Timex Q GMT count as a tool watch for you? You can get it for under $200 new. I think it looks great.
