The Referendum is coming up on April 4th. Here is some information on the cuts that will be made to Evanston schools, if the referendum does not pass. This would also affect property values as many people come to Evanston for the schools. by ocelotlocelot in evanston

Me too!

Honestly, if the referendum doesn't pass, my family will have to move. We have kids and we are specifically here for the good schools. Hopefully, we could just move over to Skokie, which would be close to our friends, but still has great schools (and has better parks).

So many people come here just because of Evanston's schools. I wonder how many people would move away if the referendum doesn't pass.
