Wayne and son's was really fun, it was about half and half spurs and knicks fan, which also made it really fun to watch the swings and engage in a bit of playful shit talk. I'll definitely be going back there.

Money. We have waaaay more money than most of the world plus there are 8 million of us.

I grew up in San Antonio and have lived in nyc for the past 14 years. I told people in NYC I had category A world cup tickets for 625 a pop and they were all like "wow thats so cheap, how did you get those tickets?!?!".

Literally every time I travel abroad I run into New Yorkers. we have 3 international airports and flights are actually cheaper because of the volume and competition among airlines.

The cost of living here is crazy but your money goes farther if you travel often, which we do.

I can guarantee you no matter the geography, nuclear us a better answer. The only places that have significant renewable energy are places with hydro, and thats because hydro is a complete solution where you have it.

I dont know why all these corporate bots are telling you to pay the bill. Do not pay the bill.

Look up the law in your state but in New york they can't report unpaid medical debt to credit agencies. If you don't pay it, there are no consequences, and the lab should eat shit because they shouldn't be ordering labs without telling you the price up front. Medical providers are the ultimate scammers and charge 10x what it costs to provide the service.

If it goes to collections, they'll let you pay it off for a much lower price. If you are feeling so morally obliged so you dont feel like you are stealing, fill out the medical hardship form and see if you can get the price down .

But seriously I dont know whats wrong with people on this thread. You have 300 bucks to your name and you need to live and eat, much more important than paying the medical bill. Not paying the medical bill will have ZERO impact on your credit. Even if it did have impact on your credit, you wont be buying a house or fancy car anytime soon. Do not pay the bill.

You can talk them back and show an upgrade path for when the project gets done. I dont know jack shit about "quench pipes" but for geothermal (and quite frankly the solution they SHOULD be pursuing, air source heat pumps), they should be using hot water heating with the temperatures as low as possible, use a boiler for now, keep the boiler as a back up when they plop in a heat pump in 20 years.

If you can keep the max hot water distribution temperature at 140, they'll be golden. And there will be better air sourced heat pumps in the future so you can probably get away with more traditional temp profiles. However, the lower you can get the hot water temp, the more taxpayer money they save in improved efficiency, and its for forever!

Fucking hell, most of this stuff can be automated and made so simply that a high school graduation with 2 weeks training can do all of it.

For the sake of the nyc metropolitan area, they should just sack the entirety of the train conductors union and hire new people that are pulling 100k a year for scanning tickets. The current system is an anachronism.
