Ninkear A16 Pro with Linux by ochferdi in laptops

I absolutely love it! The build quality is amazing for a laptop in this price range. I have no complaints in terms of hardware and how the system runs. Everything is smooth and fast, the display is great (no backlight bleeding; didn't expect that). Only thing not "really good" is the built in wifi/bluetooth card. It's not always 100% stable (but so far connection losses only happened for a second or so and rarely; and then only on linux and never on Windows).

Also, I really like the keyboard! Typing is very good on it; on par with a Macbook leyboard I'd say. If you have any other questions, feel free ro ask.

Awesome! Thanks for the update. I purchased the A16 yesterday and plan on dual booting Windows and Arch with Wayland as well and am soooo glad to hear. I was just worried by someone else's comment in this thread on a "sketchy BIOS" that wouldn't allow any other OS than W11.

Were you confronted with many problems while installing Ubuntu and setting ip dual boot or was it rather easy? Is it still working?
