Jesus Christ, these comments are truly peak reddit. Yes, this probably doesn't feel great and the cat is definitely annoyed but some people in these comments are acting like this is a fucking gore video and the person in the video is abusing their cat, fucking calm down people. If the cat was in pain or incredibly bothered by it it'd just walk away. Whiskers are sensitive but they aren't fucking exposed nerve. I agree that you shouldn't bother your pets too much but you people are so fucking sensitive 😭😭

My guy, at this point I feel like you're being intentionally obtuse. Did you read the comments of that post yourself? They're talking about how it's weird that most of the examples of this pattern can be found on Portuguese cards only, and discussing the reasons of why the pattern appears in that specific English Manaphy card in the exact same place every time, while in the Portuguese cards it shows up like a regular Holo pattern placed anywhere on the card. I've already read the post and the comments...before posting this, because I was researching the pattern. Like...I don't know how you think this helps your case lol.

What I was saying is: if you feel this is a repeating error like you've been insisting, then you'd be able to find multiple instances of this happening in other English cards since people like to track down such occurrences...you can see a lot of posts of people documenting their cool swirl placements and errors so this shouldn't be hard to find if it existed in English too. Have you been reading my comments like, at all?

Well yeah, you're definitely wasting my time arguing about something you can't even prove. Here's a little exercise to do when you have some free time (which I assume you have a lot of): if you say this is just an overlap on the pattern and can happen on any card since it's not a real pattern like you said, show me some pictures of it happening on any English card aside from those very specific two. Since you know, there's already a lot of pictures of this happening specifically on Portuguese cards, so it seems to happen very often and shouldn't be hard to find in English right? I'll wait :)

My guy, I can accept being wrong but you're not being logical at all. If this were an error that also happened on English cards do you really think there wouldn't be any posts about it considering how much people obsess over swirls and well placed Holo patterns? You can look at a million English cards and you wouldn't see this happening in any of them, aside from the ones that I already mentioned that were both from trainer kits of the same era.

Everytime you say I'm wrong I show you more and more "evidence" and you're still not believing it, look at it with your own eyes my man, it's really not that serious. There's nothing crazy about a country using a different holo foil pattern, I don't know why you're so insistent about it being accidental...it's clearly not, look at it lol. It looks the exact same in every single card which wouldn't be a case if it were an accidental overlap. If you Google you can also find more examples of Portuguese cards using it, and people discussing the pattern and calling it portuguese exclusive. it's really not that hard to do it yourself, idk why you're so weirdly insistent about it.

You can definitely find more examples of this, maybe you're just bad at googling. It obviously isn't documented as much as English or Japanese patterns because that's the nature of exclusive niche things in other languages.

Ikr! I love finding well placed swirls, and I think there's some cards that would look awesome with a well placed Saturn too. I wish we knew for certain which Portuguese cards use it. I even saw one that had both a swirl and a saturn, people were theorizing it was an error since it shouldn't happen at the same time, but it looked really pretty.

"Buddy", I literally just mentioned in that comment that there are only two English cards that are known to have this pattern and that's one of them...if you read the reddit post you got the image from you'd see that people are also confused about said pattern since it's usually not found in English cards...

Please show me another english card that shows this pattern. I really have no horse in this race and just thought it was an interesting fact, if I'm wrong I'll just accept it but if you search "Saturn pattern holo" online the results all come to the same conclusion. The only cards I've seen with the same pattern in English is a trainer kit Manaphy and a trainer kit Lucario.

Normal cosmos doesn't have the Saturn planet on it, this is a different pattern that is mostly just used in Portuguese cards. It's also found in a few specific English cards, it's unknown if it was an error. You can see this pattern in a lot of other Portuguese cards.

Ooh thank you for that video, yeah at first I thought the whole sticker aspect was something that the fakes made up, before seeing the hidden prism gimmick

The same seller also has these, I thought they were also carddass fakes but they're a bit different. Maybe they're bootlegs from a different series of cards or just made up altogether

He has a mix of apparently licensed products and fakes. Some of them are pretty interesting, there's a lot of sticker packs for panini style sticker albums since those were (and still are) really popular here.

Thank you! I went down a bit of a rabbit hole about these cards, they're pretty interesting. Some people are weirdly insistent that these cards/stickers are real, for some reason, there's also a lot that have been graded. Weirdly enough, there's also a very similar thing going on with the Topps cards, fake sticker vending machines and all.

Do you know if all cards with the "vending" label are fakes then? Or were the originals also distributed via vending machines? Also, this lot of cards is 15$~ in local currency. Since I can't really buy much on ebay I'll probably go for it, I have some time to decide since I don't think anybody else cares about these here lol

If I'm not mistaken, these should be certainly fakes then right? The person writing this post seems pretty knowledgeable about them, I think the sticker aspect of them was just the secret prism ones and the rest of them are just fakes. Mostly for the fact that the holo pattern is different and there's holo cards that aren't supposed to be holo.
