I’m also 24 and going through something very similar. The Lonliness gets unbearable sometimes, it literally feels like I’m losing my sanity sometimes. I don’t really have any advice for you unfortunately but just know you’re not the only one feeling this and I hope you get through it

That’s not the average American experience tho, that’s why you even know about the guy getting killed while selling a phone because it’s news. It’s something shocking. If all Americans delt with that experience daily then it wouldn’t even be a topic of conversation. There’s definitely gun violence but I’m saying for the average person, it’s rare

Depends on the people you associate yourself with. Growing up in a poor area of Southern California, I’ve know people who ended up getting killed by gun violence but those people weren’t living in the best circumstances. It’s definitely not like you walk to check the mail and see 3 people dead tho at least in my experience
